Sungmin got awaken because of the whimpers she heard beside her. The latter had his arms around so it was hard to release herself from his grip. She placed the back of her palm on Kyuhyun's neck when she placed her hand on his arm, He’s having a fever. She immediately went to the bathroom to get a bowl of water and a dry towel. It was only three in the morning and Kyuhyun still have two more hours to rest, He might be wearing himself out. When she exited the bathroom, he was awake as messed his red locks before looking over at Sungmin's direction, "Morning." He said shortly, flashing a small smile and stood up but was pushed back down by the former, "Lie down, Kyu. Your temperature isn't normal." She calmly stated before grabbing the white cloth and presses it on the artist's forehead.
"I'm okay, Sungmin. This is just normal for me," She shook her head and held Kyuhyun's wrist to make him stay still. His condition was worrying her and this may not have a good result. He will be going out of the country with a sickness and no one would want a singer with a cold. Kyuhyun quit moving as he pointed to the place where the thermometer when Sungmin began panicking. She headed to the table and rummaged through the small drawers, beaming when she finally found it. Luckily, the battery isn't dead yet so they can still make use of it. "Give it to me," Kyuhyun ordered while the former complied, handing the gadget to him. He placed it inside his mouth after wiping the tip where the part goes inside his mouth, scared of catching more viruses that might scare Sungmin more.
Once the thermometer beeped, he quickly removed it, "Thirty-eight degrees." He uttered while Sungmin pressed the towel harder, quietly observing Kyuhyun who already had his eyes closed due to the cold breeze the air conditioner was making. She pulled the blanket up to his shoulders and glanced at the clock, "It's still three-fifteen. Rest for a while and I'll make food for you." She said before leaving the latter in the room, breathing heavily as he tried to stand up. It took him a few attempts to successfully stand on both of his tired feet. He dragged his feet to the kitchen after draping the comforter around his shoulders and force his eyes to open.
Sungmin prepared chicken stew and for ten minutes, she managed to finish everything and spotted Kyuhyun on the couch, looking like a drunken person who hasn’t had any sleep yet, "I told you to stay inside." She whispered, sat beside him and gently shook him to make him go back to his senses. "Here, open your and I'll feed you," She ordered, thrusting the spoon near the former's lips while Kyuhyun hesitantly parted lips, chewing quickly when his tongue got in contact with the tasty porridge. "I can eat by myself, Min. You should rest, too," Kyuhyun grinned, snatching the bowl from Sungmin and pushed her head to lean on his shoulder as he wrapped the blanket around her as well.
Sungmin obliged so she positioned her head into a more comfortable place, playing with the redhead's shirt, tugging it gently. She does that habit whenever she feels bugged. The ghost of yesterday's confession haven't left her soul yet, causing her mind to collapse every time her lover's crying face shows up. It was never easy to move on from something and she can tell that Kyuhyun is also on that stage. "Kyu, about yesterday, I..." She planned on starting a small talk but she got cut by the unknown sensation creeping inside her. Kyuhyun knew what she was about to tell him. He can sense the guilt and regret in her but forcing her into something she can't do yet will only deepen the scar.
He sighed, stood up along with Sungmin and took her in his arms, "Don't bring anything about yesterday. Let's just pretend that I haven't confirmed my feelings for you yet. I can wait and I want you to take your time because I won't let you go. I want you to treat me like the way you did when I haven't confessed; the way you would blush when I would tease you, the way you follow all my plans about Seohyun and the way you felt for me after our first meeting. I want you to be sure of your feelings first before you confront me, okay? Let's end this conversation here, inside this unit's four walls and only between us, no one else." He felt her smile on his chest while he was rubbing her trembling back. The former just stood still, enjoying the hug she will surely miss, hooking her arms around him. "I don't want you to be left out hanging, waiting for my answer that you wouldn't expect. I know what you feel too so you can't tell me that I haven't experienced being dumped yet," Sungmin confirmed, clutching on the latter's shirt as she made contact with their eyes while Kyuhyun pressed their foreheads together before stating, "I'm not yet dumped, am I?" Sungmin chuckled after nodding, slowly realizing the microscopic gap between them.
Kyuhyun had his hands on both side of her hips, pushing her closer even though the aura was a bit uncomfortable but as long as Sungmin doesn't complain, there's nothing to be afraid of. They stayed like that for more the five minutes, staring into each other's eyes, as if someone would break them apart, until the singer finally noticed the clock that had been ticking faster than usual or he had been savouring the moment with Sungmin whom he will miss for the next two days. "I have to get ready," He moved away, held her chin up and pecked those lips that he had been getting since yesterday evening. Sungmin took a reluctant step away when their lips parted away for the touch ended as soon as it started; making her feel worried about his current situation.
He soon entered the bathroom with his appropriate clothes while the latter followed him inside the bedroom to check if his things are complete. She saw a small red box in the pocket of his bag where he kept the necklace. All she wanted to do is to see if her jewellery is somewhere inside the pocket or not but nonetheless, the thought of opening the bow remained in her head. Soon before Kyuhyun exits the bathroom, she found her necklace in his wallet together with his phone and other important stuff. Kyuhyun sat on his table, eyes getting heavier every time he is motionless as his hands ran inside a particular drawer that contained his cosmetics. Since he will be fetched by his manager, he barely have the time to apply makeup due to the endless ranting of Seohyun about his schedule, the thing he must and must not do in front of the camera. God, he was trained to be modest in front of the media for almost a month because of his stubborn attitude, arrogant image and mysterious side.
"How can you let your hair ruin your clothes? You should learn how to dry them before you dress up," Sungmin said, wiping the former's hair with a small towel he brought when he went out of the bathroom. Kyuhyun groggily replied as he leaned his throbbing head on the woman's chest, indirectly hoping that she would peck him again to make feel refreshed since the water failed to wake his soul up, "I have people to do that for me." He reply shortly, folded his arms above his chest before Sungmin turned him around to dry his bangs next. She continued on rubbing the man's hair with the cloth, feeling Kyuhyun's nose between her breasts which sent shivers up her spine that delivered dirty thoughts to her oh-so innocent mind.
It was a shame that her height is far from Kyuhyun's. Well, it's not her problem that she is five inches shorter that him.
Then, Sungmin freed herself from Kyuhyun's arms, grabbing a certain round object on the table and started putting some foundation on his cheeks, smiling when Kyuhyun trapped her between his legs as he pulled her closer. She had to restrain her body to break down and sit on him again. Luckily, she didn't get distracted when she caught him inserting his hands in her shirt, allowing him feel her smooth back. She had to purse her lips to prevent her from making desperate moans because of the hands that reached the strap of her bra. This isn’t a good sign, Sungmin. You’re letting your bitchy side take over you again. "Moan my name for me," Kyuhyun whispered, his eyes clouded with lust that he can no longer hide. He can't let one small moan excite him that easily while Sungmin did what she was expected to do, softly whispering his name as she threaded her fingers on his hair.
"That's my girl," Kyuhyun smirked as he removed his hand when he got the chance to unclasp Sungmin's undergarment for a split second, accomplishing that as if he was some kind of expert. The latter blinked as she tapped her back. She just gave Kyuhyun the biggest opportunity to take her purity and she wasn't even complaining about it. She ran to the bathroom to fix it but got stopped when Kyuhyun held her wrist, lifted her shirt and clasped it for her, moving his head to her shoulder, whispering words to Sungmin who was stuck on her spot. She felt his lips on her neck as if trying to seduce her by licking the joint and sucking a certain part that caused her to pinch his arm, signalling Kyuhyun that he finally found her weak spot. "Kyuhyun," She spoke, unintentionally tilting her head to accommodate his actions but she came back to her senses when the former moved away; grinning mischievously at the sight of his work of art. "I did well, didn't I? It was kind of hard to believe that a first-timer like me can be this confident in doing these things to a very innocent woman like Lee Sungmin," He claimed, twisted Sungmin's body around and another smirk played along his lips while Sungmin was still in a trance.
The doorbell rang and Kyuhyun advanced to the door to open it but expected no other than his manager, Seohyun, leaving the dumbfounded Sungmin. His spirits were lifted up when he and Sungmin shared that kind of moment. It actually surprised him when she didn't even stopped him from continuing and since it really was his first time, he can't help but to be happy due to the mark that he made to prove that he owns someone now. "What are you grinning about, idiot? You probably woke on the wrong side of the bed today," Seohyun sarcastically laughed but that didn't prevent Kyuhyun from giggling, batting his eyelashes and skipping in and out of the room. "We'll leave in ten minutes. Better do your last-minute packing before I change my mind on letting you say goodbye to your girlfriend," She added after crossing her legs annoyingly, silently praying that Kyuhyun would notice it. Unfortunately, he didn't and scampered to his room to get all his stuff before showing it to Seohyun who was in process of believing the sight; Kyuhyun packed neatly and it was organized, unlike the times that she had to fix his things for him in order to make him look like a human to everyone.
"Here's my passport. Keep it for me because I'm afraid that I'll lose it," He grinned, handed it to her nicely and skipped to his room to spend the next five minutes with his beloved. To keep his privacy, he locked the door and pulled Sungmin in his embrace, grinning like an idiot who recently had his first kiss, "Don't forget to think of me while I'm gone." Sungmin giggled and playfully punched his chest before nodding. Now it was her turn to speak, "Bring yourself in whole, okay? I don't want you to show yourself to me in pieces. I want to introduce you to my parents before my mom is gone." Kyuhyun nodded and raised his shortest finger up while Sungmin gladly did the same, locking their fingers as the space between their lips was filled by the latter. By that time, Kyuhyun liked the fact that their lips fit perfectly at each other as if they were puzzle pieces. Kyuhyun took this chance to kiss her longer because he has a decent reason to do so.
Sungmin broke the kiss and told Kyuhyun, "Send me an email when you have the chance to. But a video message will be better. Don't expect me to give you a text message because the rates are high." The former quickly agreed, tangled their fingers and headed out to inform Seohyun that he's ready to leave although his heart says otherwise. "Come on, let's go. We still have to drop by Heechul's place," Seohyun said in a tone the irritates Kyuhyun. Sungmin grinned as she opened the latter's bag and handed him the necklace which he quickly clasped around his neck, just in case he lose it since he can't look after it during the whole trip, "Remember what I told you. Take care and don't let unnie bully you, that's my job." The redhead rolled his eyes before giving Sungmin the last kiss. Kyuhyun snorted, "Don't let any man take your feelings away from me. I own you now and be careful of what you tell your friends." He poked the mark he made earlier which made Sungmin flinch, blush and turn away in embarrassment but Kyuhyun chuckled as he hugged her from behind, muttering the three words that had been playing along his tongue before biding goodbye as he blew her a kiss. She watched his shadow fade while her legs felt like melting due the cheesiness she was experiencing ever since they woke up this morning.

Four hours had passed and Kyuhyun's was on his way to the condo unit wherein he will spend his nights for the time being. Heechul felt the bubbly aura when they talked in the plane and now, they were in the car and he had been giggling and blushing ever since they saw each other just this morning. "There really is something wrong with you. You usually curse in the morning, throw daggers at Seohyun and sleep the whole time. You're not a morning person, Kyuhyun. Did someone tore you apart from your lovely Starcaft or did you take Sungmin yesterday?" The appearance of this kind of Kyuhyun is scaring her. It was never like him to follow her orders immediately. He always tell her to do it herself, he'll do it later or he won't reply at all.
She was aware that Sungmin likes Kyuhyun and the kid likes the woman too but isn't it too early for them to do IT? "No, I didn't. I'm planning to take it when she's ready. And for you information, I did throw daggers to Seohyun, mentally cursed at the fans who threw their gifts to me and slept in the plane but I dreamt of Sungmin and I getting married," Kyuhyun said dreamily, grinning madly before Seohyun flicked him on the forehead. So, this is the reason why he had been acting that way. Does that mean that they are official now? Well, she knew about their fake relationship which is why she volunteered to help Sungmin with her preparations. She was kind of shocked when she found out about that play because she knew Kyuhyun too well. He was never the type of person to allow a random woman be his pretend partner so there must be something inside Sungmin that is not present in any other girl. She wasn't as pretty as the girls in showbiz but she has that charm that makes her appealing to people, it may be the feeling that appears whenever she's around or maybe, it's probably because she is the girlfriend of the most popular singer in Korea.
Heechul decided not to meddle with their business since Kyuhyun would tell her if he wanted to. It's better to keep their relationship between themselves while she have to do her tasks as a fiancée of a chinese seaman named Hankyung who happens to be her lover for almost five years now and in three months, she will be his woman.
She patted Kyuhyun's shoulder and gave him a meaningful smile, the kind of smile that she always hide because of the impressions she made with some people which caused some arguments but she and the latter had a bond that is hard to break, "Take good care of her. There might be no one else like her so you better prove yourself to her before something bad happens, okay?" Kyuhyun eagerly nodded, grinning sheepishly when he was able to recognize the deepness of the words recently she stated.

"Hyuk, have you contacted Sungmin?" Donghae asked as she rubbed the back of Dongjae who just finished a bottle of milk for breakfast while Hyukjae was in the other side of the bed, waiting for his phone to gain enough batteries to give his sister an important message. "My phone's batteries died but I'll tell her as soon as possible," He assured and stared weakly at his wife. They got a message from their mom's doctor saying that she needs to be discharged and she will be sent there in Seoul as soon as possible. The doctors were complaining about the bills that weren't paid yet. The hospital doesn't have enough supplies so Leeteuk must be in a hospital that can give her needs. The expenses were high but at least they will still be able to pay for it.
"I already sent the money to the hospital. It can consume up to four rounds of chemotherapy which can only last for two weeks," Hyukjae sorted out, afraid that his voice may shake as his grip on his phone tightened, causing Donghae to hold his hand. She grinned at him, eyes glistening with tears as she moved closer to him while the former looked at somewhere aside from his wife. Looking at her won't make him feel any lighter. "We will do everything to help mom. I will always be here to cheer you up and don't be afraid to open up to me. I'm your wife and I have every right to know interfere with your personal business."

Kangin faked out a smile as he looked sadly at his wife who was on the bed, laying lifelessly as if she was some kind of dead person, motionless. The nurse handed him a white envelope before checking on her patient's record on the edge of her bed. He opened it and grinned in relief, happy that his children still remembered them.
A certain card was in between the numerous sheets of paper so he took it. He is sure that it was Hyukjae who wrote the letter because of the handwriting that will always be hard to read but the easiest to understand.
Dad,
Here's the money for mom's therapy. Use it wisely, okay? Sungmin and I will be sending the payments for the upcoming surgeries next week. About the transferring of hospitals, I already dealt with everything so you don't have to worry about anything. Just take good care of mom and do everything for her as long as it's not harmful. Donghae and I will visit on the day after you arrive here in Seoul because I have some tasks to finish. Be patient and we love you very much that is why we are striving to earn more money to help mom live. Tell her to be stronger and tell her not to cry.
Love, Hyukjae
Kangin silently read the note while Leeteuk held his shoulders, squeezing them as she heard sniffs from her husband. "Is there something wrong?" She inquired, peeking by his shoulder and took the paper that was handed to her. It didn't take minutes for her to finish reading it and for her tears to stream down her thin face. The former held her hand, comforting her in a way that can really calm her down although she won't hush soon, he will be beside her and do what his children want him to do. "See, they're still supporting you. They love you, Teukkie and you love them back. They're hoping to see you soon," He uttered, cupped her face as his thumb wiped the salty liquid rolling down her cheeks before giving her forehead a peck. Sungmin and Hyukjae may not be her real children and it is possible for them to turn their ways do it’s good to know that they are repaying her for everything she did when they were young. She misses them and it pains her that her children are the ones having a harder time than her. She wanted to live longer and to be with her family longer but, more likely, her request was getting hard to accomplish.
"Hyukjae will visit us in Seoul, together with his family and Sungmin. We will see each other soon, honey. Hold on a little longer."
