"We'll eat well~" Hyukjae, Sungmin and Kyuhyun sang, grabbed their own pair of chopsticks and dug in. Donghae chuckled softly at the sight of those people enjoying the food she cooked. She stood up and went to their bedroom to check the baby who is currently sleeping. Once Hyukjae swallowed everything inside his mouth, he started a conversation, "How come you haven't told me about this boyfriend of yours?" Sungmin gulped. What can she possibly tell her brother? Suddenly, Kyuhyun squeezed her hand under the table and said, "It's only been a month since we started dating, hyung. Maybe, Sungmin forgot to inform you about it."

Sungmin just nodded and grinned at Hyukjae who was in the middle of registering what the redhead said. "You're a singer, right? How did the two of you meet?" Hyukjae inquired before shoving a spoonful of rice. He just can't believe them that easy. Donghae came back with Dongjae who was drinking milk and went back to her seat to start filling her stomach, as well. "We were classmates in college," Kyuhyun casually replied as he trapped another piece of rick cake with his chopsticks. It seems so easy for him to make up answers. The latter became silent and it looked like he was buying it. Sungmin smiled at Kyuhyun who was actually staring at her. They involuntary looked at each other while Donghae was squealing like a mad fan girl.

"Aigoo~ Min, you're very lucky to have a boyfriend like him. I, for instance, belong to those unfortunate ones," She joked as she rocked the child while Hyukjae was getting glum. Kyuhyun and Sungmin tried to prevent their laughter but it failed when they heard Hyukjae scoff. The singer found Sungmin's hand under the table so he didn't miss the opportunity to hold it. The former didn't budge though and she had to admit that she liked it. "Yah, how could do you say that?" Hyukjae whined, feigned a sad expression but quickly recovered when his wife pecked her cheek. The other two gave a teasing glare at the couple as Sungmin leaned her back on Kyuhyun's chest while the former's arm was draped around her shoulder.

Minutes passed and everyone was finished eating so Sungmin collected the dishes but Kyuhyun took the place in the sink. "Min, let me do it," She heard Donghae said from the room but even before the elder touch the plates, Sungmin blocked her and told her to go back on whatever she was doing because she and Kyuhyun will take care of the dishes. "Are you sure?" Donghae asked again, making sure if the two are fine with it. Kyuhyun agreed and so did Sungmin. The latter walked away and went to her room.

"Your brother is nice," Kyuhyun started as he began to clean the cups and the utensils while Sungmin was folding his sleeves so that he wouldn't wet them. Sungmin gave her a puzzled look before proceeding on wiping the table to eliminate the small pieces of rice. "What did you see in him that makes you say that he is kind?" She joked as she made her way to the sink to wash the towel she used for cleaning the table. The latter chuckled as he started rinsing the dishes, "He looks so comfortable to be with." Sungmin settled herself on the counter located near the sink and stared at Kyuhyun.

"If you continue on staring at me like that, I'll melt," He claimed, shut the faucet and shook his hands to get rid of the water on his hands. He saw Sungmin stand up, grab a dry towel and wipe the plates to dry them. Something in came up to him which cause him to wrap his arms around her waist and rest his head on her shoulder. The former felt the atmosphere heating again due to the contact she and Kyuhyun was in. "Kyuhyun," She whispered and tried to push him by her elbows but it was actually comfortable. Hearing him squirm from behind made her stand still. "Let's be like this for a little while," Kyuhyun requested as he tightened his grip on the latter's waist. With that, Sungmin resumed on what she was doing before while Kyuhyun was behind her even though it felt very awkward between them.

Honestly, the feeling was hard to comprehend for the two of them. Earlier that same day, they kissed and Kyuhyun indirectly confessed to Sungmin which is still unclear to her if Kyuhyun really likes her or not but she really hope he do. At least when Kyuhyun confesses to her, she can die happy even though it's only been a while since she met him.

Hyukjae peeked through the door and saw what her sister and her boyfriend was doing in the kitchen. Once his eyes got enough of the overflowing display of affection, he sat on the bed after shutting the door while Donghae made her way beside him. "Don't worry about her. It's normal for a woman like her to be in a relationship with someone. Besides, we started dating when we were in college," She comforted her sulking husband and took his hands between hers. Hyukjae thinks otherwise. He's scared that Kyuhyun might be another playboy and he won't let him break his sister's heart that easily. Despite him being a famous celebrity, fans are already aware of Kyuhyun dating.

"I don't know, Hae," Hyukjae confessed, leaned his head on the former's shoulder and trapped Donghae's hands with his own pair. "Come on, Hyukkie, you shouldn't let this simple thing bug you," She laid on the bed and patted Dongjae to lull him back to sleep. The latter did the same as he wrapped an arm around Donghae and pulled her closer. Donghae turned around, buried her face on the former's chest and tangled their legs together. "I just can't handle seeing Sungmin cry especially now when mom is in a critical condition," Hyukjae stared and seemed like he was about to cry.

Donghae can relate to what her husband was experiencing. She lost her father when she was in middle school and her mother was the only one working for them. It was hard but they have to accept the fact that the person they treasure has to leave. "Be strong, Hyuk. We only have to hope that she will live longer," Donghae caressed Hyukjae's cheek and hugged him tight.

A man opened the door of his apartment and saw Seohyun grinning at him. "Hi," She simply greeted, came inside, and settled herself on the couch. The latter nodded and handed her an envelope. Seohyun was sure of the things inside it so she quickly opened it. A photo appeared. It was a photo of Kyuhyun and Sungmin heading to a house which Seohyun is aware. "We're not sure where these two are going," The buff man said, scratching his nape as he sat beside Seohyun. "You don't have to worry about that. I overheard their conversation this morning. That must be the house of Sungmin's brother," Seohyun smirked when she felt something on her hip so she slapped his hand away as she shook her head.

The latter sighed but nonetheless, complied to what Seohyun wanted him to do. "Let's change the headline for tomorrow's paper into something very interesting. Since the house looked like an entrance of a hotel, we can say that they are going inside, right?" The man suggested, smirked and snatched the photo from Seohyun. She tapped her heel, clapped her hands and muttered, "Good job, Siwon."

Kyuhyun laid on the bed and pulled Sungmin with him. They looked into each other's eyes and when Kyuhyun was about the lean forward, someone knocked on the door, causing the redhead to curse under his breath. Sungmin grinned and opened the door, revealing her Unnie. "Someone is looking for Kyuhyun. Her name is Heechul," Donghae notified that two. With that, Kyuhyun immediately stood up and grabbed his coat from the bedpost. No one would want to see the furious Heechul. Hearing that Kyuhyun has to leave to attend to his remaining schedules, Sungmin frowned and helped the latter to fix his coat.

"I'll be back later this evening. Don't wait for me and sleep already, okay? I might be late," Kyuhyun stated and tapped his pockets to check if his phone is somewhere inside one of those pocket. Sungmin nodded while Kyuhyun pecked her on the forehead before exiting the room to meet Heechul in the living room. Sungmin waved hello to the former and Heechul replied with a soft hello. "Are you ready to leave?" She asked, standing up to dust herself. Kyuhyun nodded as he wore his shoes outside the household. "Donghae noona, I'll be leaving. I'll be back later," He bid goodbye and kissed Sungmin fully on the lips before heading out.

Once the two were gone, Donghae giggled as she took a bottle and poured some warm water, "He's so sweet." Sungmin shook her head, smiled and left Donghae.

Kyuhyun played with his phone ever since they climbed the vehicle. "Noona, where is Seohyun?" He inquired as his fingers did its job of swiping in all directions possible and often tilt his device. "She said she met up with a friend. She'll see you in the training hall," Heechul replied as she searched for her makeup kit somewhere inside the van. "Anyways, Seohyun asked me to fetch you. We will drop you in your dorm to get your things for the practice. She also said not to bring your phone with you," The latter gasped and faced Heechul. He won't give in to het manager is telling him to do. What if Sungmin calls him? "Why? ~ She can't do that to me! Tell her to change that rule," Kyuhyun whined like a child. He is aware that he was acting like a child but what if there are some emergencies and he doesn't have his phone with him? Heechul sighed, "Unfortunately, I don't have the right to interfere with your business. Her position is higher than mines. It wouldn't hurt to follow her for once, right?"

Kyuhyun folded his arms above his chest and pouted but he has to follow her manager. If she would force her to let him bring it, he will just waste all his time and efforts in doing so.

The day passed smoothly and Kyuhyun accomplished all of his activities for the day. He arrived at Hyukjae's house and gave Sungmin a message that he was already outside. Luckily, Sungmin wasn't asleep yet so she was able to open the door for him. "Why are you still awake? I told you not to wait for me?" Kyuhyun muttered as soon as he saw the latter. She looked so cute in those pink pajamas, her hair was tied in a neat bun but the vanilla scent never failed to leave her. "I couldn't sleep," Sungmin confessed, assisted Kyuhyun to the room where the two of them will be sleeping together.

But then, Sungmin remembered. The room has one bed, just one which means, she and Kyuhyun will have to share. She pushed her worries on the back of her mind.

Once they reached their quarters, Sungmin hid herself under the thick blankets because she knows Kyuhyun will be changing his clothes. She felt the mattress sunk beside her and the only one who can make that is him, "You won't change? I borrowed clothes from oppa so that you can sleep comfortably." The former whined as he removed his shoes and snuggled closer to Sungmin. "You like it when I'm sweaty. I'm too worn out, unless," He spread his arms wide, gesturing how lazy he was to even wash up. His eyes staring at Sungmin in excitement. "Unless?" She faced him but turned back around when she spotted him unbuttoning his polo.

"Unless, you change them for me," Kyuhyun whispered onto Sungmin's ear, nibbled her earlobe and went away with his elder's clothes in hand, chortling as he made his way to the bathroom. The former buried her face on the pillow and started yelling. She will surely collapse if Kyuhyun would come closer. When she heard the door creak, she pretended to sleep but failed when the latter circled an arm around her and rested his hand on her thigh. "Is there something about your mother that made you cry this morning?" He opened up since the topic was bugging him too.

The latter grew frozen on her place and Kyuhyun seemed to notice the sudden change with her so she flipped her body around so that she would face him. "My mom was diagnosed with cancer and she's fighting for it for almost a year now," Sungmin smiled weakly, avoiding the former's eyes. She wasn't in the mood to talk about her mother. "I have an idea. Remember the promise I made with you? The thing about me doing anything for you. I will repay you by paying for your mom's expenses. What do you think?" Kyuhyun suggested. Sungmin looked down. It was too much for her to ask such even though her mother is in a critical condition. She is the one responsible for Leeteuk. Why would she let a person who is not even related to her pay?

"Kyuhyun," Sungmin uttered, clutched Kyuhyun's shirt and kept her head low but the latter held her chin so that get eyes will meet his. "It's fine, very fine. I have to tell you something. I saw a photo of you and your family this morning," Kyuhyun replied as he assisted Sungmin's hand to his chest just like the way he did inside his dressing room. Heat crept on her cheeks as she felt the atmosphere rise again, "Yeah, that was taken after oppa's wedding and that was two years ago. She still looks very strong and beautiful there." Kyuhyun chuckled and claimed Sungmin's lips for a kiss that ended as soon as it started, "Just like her daughter."

With that final phrase, both of them slept with hearts fluttering for each other.
