Biting the bullet...grr
Alright, so I've come to the inevitable conclusion that since I'm running out of options for work, I'm going to have to do the one thing that I swore that I would never do again...and that is get a job in the city. But really, this idea is repulsive to me. There is nothing in the wolrd I want less aside from maybe AIDS, and even that's a close call here. I hate working in Manhattan. Commuting sucks ass, the prices for food are so high that I could eat at a nice resteraunt in Jersey for about the same price as a sandwhich from a New York deli, and really, I have no desire to work in a city that's as grimy and filthy as New York is these days. Granted, it's not as bas as I remember it being as a kid, but it's still not as nice as it was during Guliani's tenure. So as a last act of desperation, aside from applying to McDonalds, I'm going to start job hunting in the city. And this does not make me happy.
