Eye of the beholder...
So I saw on CNN how the President of Venezuela accused the U.S. of planning to invade his country at the U.N. today. Apprently he has proof too. At first I just laughed and thought "silly Venezualen president". But then a rather disturbing thought occured to me. It's exactly the same thing that small European countries were saying in the late 1930's. And no one listened to them. In fact, the world leaders gave up Yugoslavia to Hitler as appeasement. So the sound of one tiny voice crying out might sound absurd, but I have to give pause and wonder, with our current administration, how absurd is it really?
