(no subject)
YAY! It's over, it's done, my finals are finished! WOOHOO!
Friday was Japanese, which I think went rather well. I studied a ton for that one, and thankfully it was only an hour long, unlike my other two. Historical Linguistics was on Monday, and that one went rather well too. Thankfully, there were a few "choose 3 out of the 6" type questions to answer, and I feel okay about the other problems too. Today was Morphology, which didn't go as well as I thought it would. The first two questions were about material that wasn't in any of my notes! >.< Thankfully though, the rest of the final was a ton of morphology problems, and I know how to do those. All in all, I feel good about them, I think I'll do all right. X3
The other big worry on my shoulders was resolved today as well. It turns out that my summer loan went through, so I'll have the money to stay here this summer! XD This bit of news came after I FREAKED OUT over the loan disbursement dates (it almost looked like it was going to be for next year... >.<) and called financial aid. Thankfully, the money I need to stay here will be here, so I feel good about that.
That money will also help with another issue that's come up... I think my car battery is dead. At first it took three tries to get the car to start, then it wouldn't start at all but it still makes the normal noises. Now it won't do /anything/ when I turn the key. >.< Dad's coming up here Thursday to check it out, and I think my parents will be able to help out for this one.
So, for this summer I'm still looking for a job, I haven't heard back from any of the places I applied to yet. In my free time, I plan to work on art a whole lot more and hopefully learn how to knit, sew, and make felted animals. Mom just got me a kit for making a felted fox! It looks so cute, I can't wait to start... X3
