Chapter Two - “Press Conference”
Jin was so angry. No, he was furious! He was sincerely worried about Kazuya for absolutely no reason! Maybe he teased Kazuya a bit, played around just a little, but he didn’t deserve that! He didn’t deserve Kazuya basically crying in front of him asking why he was doing this after everything that has happened and when Jin later sent him a text asking how was he doing, pretty much trying to apologize about him being such a dick, it all came up; Kazuya was acting. With Jin’s math that ment Kazuya didn’t mind being teased.
Jin lifted his hood up and put his sunglasses on as he got up from his car, walking to the studio. He saw Kazuya standing inside, waiting for the elevator. Jin broke into a light jog so he’d got the same ride up. “What the fuck is this?!” Jin stepped into the elevator making Kazuya turn around.
“It’s your phone?” Kazuya looked at Jin showing his phone to him. He knew Jinwas talking about the message, but if possible, he didn’t really want to discuss it through, especially not with someone like Jin. Kazuya had to admit it; once again Jin managed to look smoking hot. He was wearing normal black hoodie, the hood covering his head. Only part of his face was shown because of the sunglasses and the hair. His jeans were totally normal, blue, loose jeans. Jin was sealing the deal with a golden necklace that his mother had given to him on his 10th birthday. Kazuya knew it because they had talked about it before.
“Haha, aren’t you funny today, I’m talking about the text! Were you fucking with me?!” Jin was furious. He rarely cared about anything like this, especially when it was about some other people’s feelings.
“As a matter of fact, I was.” Kazuya made a sarcastic smirk. “Your dick felt lovely, thank you.” he said as the elevator doors opened. He knew very well that saying that made Jin even more pissed off. Walking off Kazuya noticed Jin following him, pretty close by. Even that didn't make Jin leave him alone?
“That’s not even funny, you prick.” if they weren’t out on public, Jin would’ve grabbed Kazuya and thrown him from the window. “Now let me read it to you,” Jin said eyeing his phone. “Never trust the tears of an actor.” he read out loud. “What the fuck was that supposed to mean?” he leaned closer. “You may be one fantastic actor, but I know when you’re acting and when not.” he whispered into Kazuya’s ear.
“Akanishi-kun! Kamenashi-kun! Good morning!” Riisa walked to them waiving her hand, smiling brightly. She wouldn't even have an idea how much Kazuya owned her for walking in at the moment.
“Don’t think we’re done.” Jin whispered to Kazuya before greeting Riisa. “Today’s the press conference, right?” he asked as the three of them sat down. “Who will be there? You, me, Kamenashi?” Jin could’ve sworn he noticed a tug on Kazuya’s eye brown for calling him that way.
Riisa nodded. “Us three and the director.” she smiled. “But director sure is late, right?” she wondered out loud. “I’m not sure if the writer is coming too.” Riisa looked at Kazuya. “Kamenashi-kun, are you okay?”
Both Jin and Riisa turned to face him. “Yeah,” he made a small smile. “I’m just a bit tired, that’s all.” there was no way he was going to admit that he thought about the time when he had a relationship, well sort of relationship with Jin, which made him feel so melancholic and he had problems with sleeping because of that.
“Oh, having boy-troubles there, buddy?” Jin smirked at Kazuya who gave him a death glare. If the next six months were going to be like this, Kazuya was going to wake up in a mental institution some day. He had to do something about it.
“No, actually, last night this ugly old fart followed me, I think he’s some stalker who’s in love with me or something.” Kazuya said smirking back at Jin. Yes, he has to do something about it, but he shall figure out what a bit later. Jin had no words. Did Kazuya just call him an ugly old fart?!
“Were you okay?” Riisa asked worried. “That sort of stalkers could be dangerous! Be careful!” she said then. Riisa started telling a story of some stalker of hers, but neither Kazuya or Jin were really listening. They were both glaring at each others in a way that a year ago would have ended up in having sex.
“Hey guys, I’m sorry I’m late!” the director walked in and sat down. “So here’s the deal; you’ll go to make up in-” he checked the time from his wristwatch. “10 minutes and after that we’ll leave to the press conference! If asked, all of you get along very well of course and you have no romantic relationships with each other.” the director spoke quickly. “I would love to see some small flirt between Naka-san and Akanishi-san, but not necessarily.”
Kazuya didn’t like the sound of that. He wasn’t jealous of Jin, but he didn’t want Riisa to get hurt. “I don’t follow. We all get along, none of us have any history with other stars of the show, yet you want them to flirt?”
“Yes. That makes the tabloids crazy and the paparazzi will be hunting you for the rest of the filming time. That’s good advertising for the show.” the director said. “You don’t have to lie there, but make yourself look good and interesting. See you there.” he got up. “Now, off you go to your make up!”
Kazuya sat in the backstage, getting his hair done. He was in his thoughts but when Riisa asked Jin what they should do his interest was awaken. “Just regular smiling, smirking or should either one say some comment?” she asked.
Jin made a small laugh. “However you want to. Let’s just go with the flow, okay?” Jin said as he watched the ready Akanishi Jin in the mirror.
Sighing, Kazuya got up. “If you make a flirty comment to Akanishi in public, his fans will hunt you down and rip off your viscera.” he said, walking away.
“Oh, am I hearing jealousy?” Jin smirked, teasing Kazuya. He placed his arm to rest on his hips. He was not loosing this battle.
Kazuya turned around fast. “Please don’t joke around.” he said walking inches apart from Jin. “If you don’t want the tabloids to hear about your small gay period with me, I’d show some respect.” he whispered into Jin’s ear. He had nothing else left. He had to blackmail Jin. If Jin couldn’t behave himself other ways, he had to force him. After that he just turned away and stormed out, shaking that perfect ass of his.
Soon after that Jin followed him. Kazuya wasn’t serious, right? He had to solve this one properly. If the media hears that his cock has been inside of Kazuya, his career would be over. Riisa was left in the room alone, stunned about the scene just now. She didn’t hear anything what Kazuya whispered to Jin, but he got the message of them not getting alone. She just hoped they’d be professional enough to act it out on the press conference.
They met the director and the writer a little before the press conference started. When they walked in, the room was full of reporters and other TV people. They sat down, trying not to look terrible, no matter when the photo was taken. Jin walked in first, followed by Riisa. Kazuya walked after her followed by the director and the writer. They started the conference by explaining the plot of the drama.
The write took the microphone and looked at everybody. “So the drama is about high school for boys that is famous for it’s soccer club. In that soccer club there is Takazawa Junji, played by Kamenashi Kazuya, he’s short-tempered and a bit of a mystery I guess. He’s going to have some troubles with his girlfriend, Mochizuki Mai who’s played by Naka Riisa because the son of the coach, Kiwi Genzaburou, played by Akanishi Jin has his eyes on the girl. It’s basically a drama comedy.”
“Have you known each others before this drama or are you meeting for the first time?” one reporter asked. “So far, do you get along well?”
“Eh,” Jin took the microphone. “For me, this is the first time working with both of them so I’m waiting for it and I’m pretty thrilled about this. It’s been awhile since I’ve been in a drama because of my tour in LA.” Jin spoke. He wasn’t lying. He hasn’t worked with neither one. He just didn’t tell that he has fucked the other one couple of times.
Riisa smiled at Jin when he passed the microphone. “For Akanishi-kun and me, this is the first co-working, but I did work on a drama Kami no Shizuku with Kamenashi-kun before so I’m comfortable acting with him, because I already know him.” she answered purely.
“Yeah, as she just said, we co-worked on a drama Kami no Shizuku before together. We’ve been good friends every since.” Kazuya smiled. Every time they smiled or anything they got half blind from all the lights from the cameras. “And about Akanishi-kun,” Jin turned to hear properly what Kazuya was going to say. He just hoped he wouldn’t say anything too obvious. “I’m actually a fan of him, so to be able to act with him, it’s just amazing. I own almost all of his DVD boxes and CDs.” Kazuya made a small laugh. He decided to keep silent about the fact that it was Jin who brought them to him in the first place.
Jin’s jaw dropped. Did Kazuya just say in front of everyone that he’s a fan of Jin? Okay, Jin could play this game too. “I liked you in that boxing drama! With Meisa.” Oops. Maybe Jin shouldn’t mention ex-girlfriends in situations like this.
“Thank you.” Kazuya smiled at Jin and again, hundreds of photos were taken.
“How were you in high school?”
Jin made a small laugh again. “I actually dropped out in the beginning of the second year: I was already in the industry and I didn’t have time to study. I knew this is what I want to do with my life and I don’t really need geometry for it.”
Riisa laughed at Jin’s answer. “I graduated, but I never really enjoyed high school. I was in all girls school, but I’m a bit of a shout in kind of a person, so being in such environment as high school was really hard for me.”
Jin playfully caressed Riisa’s hand. “Aaw, poor girl.” he said, making the whole room laugh.
Kazuya took the microphone clearing his throat. “I actually never went to high school. Pretty much the same reasons as Akanishi-kun. I was already at this business and I was pretty busy even through junior high, so I thought that I couldn’t make it through high school anyway, why to bother to get into one?” Kazuya answered.
“Last question, can you identify with your character?”
Licking his lips, Jin took the microphone. “Well actually when I was in junior high and the beginning of high school, I was in soccer club,”
“Were you good at it?” Riisa popped out a question, making Jin chuckle.
“Well, I was better than the guys around there.” he said then. “So I can identify with the soccer part, but I’ve never consider myself as a girlfriend thief or anything. Will be fun to try that out, though.” Jin finished his answer.
Riisa brought the microphone closer to her mouth. “My character is like cute and really girly and she needs a lot of attention, so I can’t really relate to that. As I told you, I don’t do well with that sort of situations in real life.”
“Hmm, I don’t think I’m as short-tempered as Junji is, but I’ll guess that he’s got a good reason to get mad if there’s some random dude poking at his loved ones?” Kazuya said. “I mean if some prick would come to take away my loved ones from me, I’d find a way to get even.”

After the press conference Riisa managed to get the two of them to get something to eat with her. They ended up in a sushi restaurant. “Excuse me.” Kazuya stood up and left to toilet. The day had gone on pretty well. They hadn't fought with Jin after morning, plus they weren’t completely ignoring each others. When Kazuya got back, he froze on his view. He saw Jin and Riisa, kissing softly and a paparazzi taking photo of them. With out really giving it another thought, he left the restaurant back to his home.
What if people could restart life? What if they could live it again, differently. What if people could make such chooses? At the moment, Kazuya would live his life without knowing Jin. Not only did he pretty much ripped of Kazuya’s heart from his chest, but he seems to have his fingers on Kazuya’s friend. Stupid, horny idiot.
Kazuya was laying on his bed after his warm and relaxing bath, ready to go to sleep, when he felt his phone vibrating. “A message?” Kazuya took his phone and opened it. Ah, Jin. Well this wasn’t that unexpected. He just left after all.

What the hell? We waited 4 u like an hour. Not answering on ur phone?
They must have called when he was in the shower. That’s why he hasn’t noticed it. He typed his answer back to let Jin know he saw the kiss. And he did not like what he saw. He was still not jealous, he just didn’t want Riisa to make the same mistake as he did, after all, Jin is very easy to fall for and Kazuya couldn’t even warn her about it, cause he couldn’t talk about it because Jin had his stupid ego.

He simply can’t get him out of his head. Jin has to get him back. He sneaks into his dormitory, and climbs up the wall to his window. He’s sitting on his bed. But he’s not alone. There’s another boy sitting next to him. They’re laughing and smiling and holding hands. Jin never did that with him. And then they kiss. It takes all Jin’s strength not to let go of the window ledge he’s clinging on to and let himself plummet downwards.
Jin knew Kazuya would go get himself a boyfriend; one that was out and proud. Jin could never give him what he wants. Freedom. Hope. Love. And he smiles, despite the circumstances, because he thinks Kazuya will be happy with this new guy. He looks like he will anyway. Jin climbs back down the wall and sneak back out of the area, leaving the boy he loves at peace.
It’s a month later, and there’s a knock at Jin’s door. It’s 2am, Jin drags himself to open the door. It’s him. He’s clutching a suitcase. He’s all wet, and Jin realised that it’s raining when he hears the patter of raindrops. His eyes are puffy and red, and Jin realised that he’s been crying. When he sees Jin he takes sharpl intake of breath, drops the suitcase, and flings his arms around Jin, sobbing. He sheds his tears and his troubles, and eventually they both end up sitting on Jin’s couch, clutching mugs of coffee. He tells Jin how the new guy had only been his boyfriend because he was new and he was good looking. When the guy realised that Kazuya wasn’t willing to another only sex relationship, he told Kazuya to leave. Kazuya is clearly upset that he’s been used. Jin could see that. But he was used as well. Kazuya knew there were not supposed to be feelings. Then he went to talk to magazine with out even talking to me about it. Jin ended up standing up, telling that Kazuya can stay for the night and then he walk out of my house, slipping on his shoes and jacket as he goes.
Jin sat up, breathing heavily. His eyes widened as he realised that he just had a dream where he was in love with Kamenashi Kazuya. He was trying to think how to answer Kazuya’s message, but he fell asleep. To Jin’s large concern he noticed the bump in his boxers. He didn’t have to do anything but think of Kazuya and he got hard? The dream wasn’t even hot? “Stupid, sexy, arrogant bastard.” he let out before pulling off his boxers and starting to get rid of his small problem.
