Summary: Kyuhyun isn’t goanna do the same thing his dad did.

“What do you mean, I don’t have time for you?!” Kyuhyun shouts back.
“I barely see you, Kyuhyun!! You’re always at work!!”
“At least I come home!!”
“When it’s already in the middle of the night!! And you leave early for work! How do you expect me to be happy with that, Kyuhyun?!!”
The couple continued on shouting as more and more anger piles up on them.
Kyuhyun couldn’t understand why Ryeowook needed so much attention. He is at WORK. He’s doing that for his family.
Ryeowook also couldn’t understand Kyuhyun. How could he value work more than his family?
“Why can’t you get my point?!!”
“So, what do you want me to do?! You want me to quit my job?! Do you want me to just sit here at home and pretend like everything’s alright!?”
“I want you to give time for me!”
“I told you that I need to go to work!!”
Ryeowook took off his ring and threw it at Kyuhyun and was about to go upstairs when in Kyuhyun’s vision, everything stops. He was shocked at first and goes to the mirror and sees that his reflection was his 7 year old self. He goes to the living room and sees that it was the exact way when he was a little boy. It was as if he went back in time and he was like a ghost. He could see his father on the phone.
His father…..
Kyuhyun didn’t even dare to look at the face that ruined his life…..
7 year old Kyuhyun comes inside the living room and smiles at his dad.
“Appa, can we go outside and play?” Young Kyuhyun said. His dad just looks at him with an annoyed expression.
“Kyuhyun, I am busy. Go ask someone else!” He said before returning to the phone. Kyuhyun left with a frown in his face.
When he left, he took the telephone on his parents’ bedroom and he could hear his dad’s conversation on the phone.
“Who was that?” a girl said. He didn’t recognize the voice nor has he ever encountered it.
“My son.” His dad said.
“Ohh…what did he ask you?”
“If I could play with him. Stupid boy.”
“Why are you so hard on him?”
“He’s just useless to me. I never wanted him anyway. His mom just wanted to keep him. I told her to get an abortion. And now, I’m spending so much money for that freak.”
“That’s too bad. Anyways, I have to go. I love you. Don’t forget about tonight.”
“I love you too, babe. And don’t worry, I won’t be late.” His dad said. Kyuhyun could imagine his father smirking at the end. Tears rolled down 23 year old Kyuhyun’s cheek as his memories are haunting him again.

Another event was shown in front of Kyuhyun.
He went into the kitchen and saw his mom on the dinner table. She was waiting and young Kyuhyun was playing with his toy. Both were silent since his father isn’t home yet. And it was already 9:00. His mother stood up and threw the food in the trash bin which surprised the boy.
“Umma, what are you doing?” Kyuhyun asks.
“Go to bed, Kyuhyun” His mom answers while putting the plate in the sink.
“What? But appa promised that he would play-”
“That’s enough Kyuhyun! Go to bed!!!” His mom screams back at him and she leaves the kitchen. Young Kyuhyun stays silent and goes to his bed without anyone tucking him into bed.

The following night was even more frightening.
Young Kyuhyun silently crept out of his room and could hear his parents’ conversation downstairs.
“Just tell me! You’re cheating on me aren’t you?!” Kyuhyun’s Umma said.
“You wanna know the truth?! Then, YES!!! She’s better than you!! At least she isn’t a person who opens her mouth 24/7!! ”
“Then, be with her!! I don’t need you!!”
“Good!!” Kyuhyun could hear footsteps ascending the stairs. He runs back to his room and pretends to sleep when he’s really crying himself to sleep.
The next morning, Kyuhyun could see his father pack his things and bring tons of luggage.
“Appa, where are you going?” He asks.
“Somewhere” His father replies coldly.
“Where? Can I come?” he asks.
“No.”
“Please?”
“I SAID NO KYUHYUN!!” His father shouts before getting all his stuff and slamming the door behind him.
Days after that, his mother was depressed. She didn’t leave the house nor do any chores. That’s when Kyuhyun was taken under the care of his best friend’s parents. Eunhyuk’s parents. They were the ones who took care of him.
Weeks after that, his mom showed infront of the Lee’s door step and begged them to give him back. But Kyuhyun refused and said that he was happier with Eunhyuk’s parents.
Then, his life changed when he met Ryeowook…..
He was the first person to know about his past in the family other than Eunhyuk and his parents. He was his first crush, He was his first boyfriend, His first love. 23 year old Kyuhyun quickly ran back to his house and saw the same picture. When Ryeowook was about to leave him. He quickly hugged the petite man from behind and soon….
Everything moved again
Ryeowook looked at him and saw that there were tears in both of their eyes. Kyuhyun never tried to waste a second and kissed his husband on the lips. Ryeowook was the only one who loved him whole heartedly.
“I’m sorry”
“I’m sorry too” They both smile on how they can understand each other so well. Kyuhyun picks up the ring and inserts it into his husband’s ring finger where it belongs.
And out of the corner, a little girl comes out with a teddy in her arms.
“Appa, is everything okay?” she asks. Kyuhyun comes up to her, smiles and nods.
“Everything’s alright, baby. Umma and I just needed to talk about something.” He said.
“Are you sure you’re not fighting?” She innocently asks. Ryeowook smiles.
“Of course, honey. Me and Appa would never fight.” That’s when the kid smiled.
“Good! Oh, appa…”
“Hmmm?” Kyuhyun asks.
“Can we go outside and play?” she asks. Kyuhyun remembers then when he was the one who asked that question to his dad.
“Baby, Appa needs to go to-” Ryeowook said but Kyuhyun stopped him.
“No. It’s alright. I’m sure my boss could wait for me.” He said with a sincere smile. Not a smirk. Ryeowook looks at him with awe. Like a “what happened to you” face. Kyuhyun picks her up with one arm and notices his hubby looking at him with amazement.
“What?” Kyuhyun asks.
“What has gotten into you?” Wook asks. Kyuhyun then chuckles.
“Let’s just say I remembered something” he said before wrapping an arm around Wook’s waist and leading his family outside to play. He promised himself he would not be like his dad. Ever.
