Up And Coming Stuff
So I was wandering around the internet the last couple of days and found a couple of things.
First of all, Matt Forbeck's excellent RPG Brave New World is being turned into a movie.
And it looks like it might actually be a good film to watch, unlike the utter disaster that was the Mutant Chronicles movie.
The trailer isn't online yet, but it will be after the screening at GenCon. All the teaser shots and information currently available though look to be pretty clsoe to what fans of the game will remember reading in the front of the game books. Remember those glossy comice sections? Yep, those pages are looking lilke they'll make the leap to the silver screen.
Also, their's a new "Re-Imagining" happening. V is returning to our TV Screens.
And the best part so far? Alan Tudyk & Morena Baccarin of Firefly fame (amongst other things) are both in it.
Alan's only confirmed for the pilot, but Morena is defienitely in the series for the long haul.
From what I've seen of it so far, it's looking pretty good. Even the trailer has me thinking it will work.
No new news on the new Buffy movie (at least, non reliable) but still hopeful.
And now I shall shove off home before I fall asleep at my desk.
