Chapter 1 - Part a
HyunSeung stared blankly at the outside of the glassy window; his mind was drifting to another world which was far away from the so-called “reality”. The clouds looked so soft, beautiful and they reminded him of the cotton candies HyunSeung used to eat when he was a small child. Even though having learned lots of scientific knowledge, somehow the doe eyed boy still wondered to himself a silly question that if he set foot on those clouds, could he float and fly on the sky or just fall onto the ground and die immediately? Of course everybody who heard that question would laugh on his face as the answer was so obvious, but anyway HyunSeung didn’t care if they really did. He just wondered, and it didn’t hurt if we wondered, even about stupid things, right?
The brunette gradually shifted his gaze to the surroundings. Almost people there were sleeping or reading magazines, listening to music or just watching TV. No word was spoken as they were so tired and somehow didn’t like talking to complete strangers. Yeah, after all everybody there were just passengers of a normal flight from USA back to Korea, so why they had to be friendly with each other. After all they just were on the airplane for some hours, then when the plane landed and the entrance door opened, they would be back to their own life and that flight would be forgotten as a stupid little thing that passed by their life. Somehow HyunSeung felt sad about those thoughts. Though being lonely many years had showed the boy how to be heedless to other things which weren’t related to him, he still wondered like that whenever having some spare time. It bothered the doe eyed boy very much but anyway, he just couldn’t help
The pretty boy sighed as he snuggled to the seat, trying to find a comfortable position. HyunSeung closed his eyes, letting a slight sleep took him to the dreamland
There were still two more hours until HyunSeung really came back to Korea

“I have told you many times not to put these files here!!! Do you understand my words???”
“I’m sorry DooJoon-ssi”
YoSeob bowed his head lower, trying to hold back the sob nearly escaping his mouth. He looked really like a helpless rabbit being caught by a dangerous wolf. And the wolf, no other than Yoon DooJoon, just stared furiously at the rabbit and showed no sign of sympathy for the smaller. DooJoon didn’t need to yell or shout at YoSeob, because just by his words and his own temperament, the latter would be scared to death. Truth be told, having to handle someone who was so clumsy and silly like YoSeob was far beyond his endurance, as DooJoon was always a kind of people who like perfection and only perfection. His life was perfect and he also demanded everything related to his life had to be perfect, of course including his personal secretary as DooJoon was the president of the student association in his university. But it seemed that things didn’t turn out as the president had expected
“Okay okay, calm down, don’t be too harsh DooJoon. And YoSeob, can you please leave and buy for us some coffee? You know what kind of coffee right?”
The person standing at the back of DooJoon who had watched the whole things from the beginning clapped his hands to draw attention from the two boys. He winked at YoSeob and the smaller boy immediately understood as it was their secret signal whenever the smaller boy was being scolded by DooJoon. YoSeob bumbled to the main door of the student association room, not forgetting to stutter a reply:
“Y-y-yeah. I’ll be-be back soon”
The room was silent again as there were only DooJoon and that boy. The president turned back and glared at the latter who had sank comfortably on the leather chair at the corner of the room:
“You’re always like that. Just when I was about to teach him”
“Teach him or scare him? Come on DooJoon, don’t you see that he always tries his best to do works for you?”
“And he ruins everything. EVERYTHING DON’T YOU SEE?”
DooJoon said, trying to emphasize the end of the sentence. The boy stopped revolving on his chair and pretending thinking for a while then said casually:
“Life isn’t perfect after all DooJoon, so stop complaining and trying to get used to it okay? YoSeob is a good guy after all”
“I’ll find a new secretary”
The president groaned in frustration as he knew clearly that telling the other about his problem was just a waste of time. At the corner of the room the boy just smirked:
“I don’t think there is still another person who dares to be your secretary. Before YoSeob, as far as I still remember you had selected at least 7 students and they all quit work after one week being tortured by you”
“What the…”
“I know that you’re an attractive and intelligent president, but nobody except for YoSeob wants to run a risk of working with you and your ridiculous obsession to perfection. Well, if you count me then I will be the second person who can bear you”
DooJoon stayed silent for a while after listening to all words the other said. Then he just shook his head in disbelief and mumbled:
“I can’t believe that you are my cousin”
“Because I’m your cousin and also the vice-president of the association, I need to give you advices right? Believe me everything I say is always right. Remember, one, Yong JunHyung is always right. Two, if he’s wrong, look back to the first thing”
The boy, called JunHyung, gave his cousin a sly smirk before turning around and picking up randomly some papers on the desk nearby, reading them in boredom. All of a sudden he remembered something and quickly asked DooJoon:
“I’ve heard news that we are going to have a new student transferring from America right?”
“How do you know? I even haven’t received the newcomer’s bio data”
“I accidentally heard some teachers talking about that. So she is a foreign, isn’t she?”
“I thought you eavesdropped them. And excuse me, who told you that it’s ‘she’? We’re going to have a male student”
“Is that so? Aish, not fun at all. Okay, so what’s our work today DooJoon?”

HyunSeung stared out in boredom as he was sitting in the car heading to his grandmother’s mansion. The weather seemed so gloomy and a light drizzle was falling. The doe eyed boy was lost in his own thought while looking at the streets. Everything hadn’t changed much after four years. He still realized the familiar way the brunette used to go to school when he was small, or the way leading to the company of his family. Even the small playground where HyunSeung used to come to play was still remained intact too…. The surroundings area and maybe even the people there wasn’t affected much, they still looked like the last time HyunSeung saw them. It made the brunette feel like he was the only had changed after years. But his change wasn’t bad after all. He just became more mature, calmer, a bit heedless and indifferent to other things. It didn’t matter anyway. His life was still fine
“Mr. Jang, we arrive”
The driver’s voice pulled HyunSeung back to the reality and the brunette looked outside just to find that he had been in front of the mansion. Someone opened the door car for HyunSeung and he had to spend some seconds to remember who that person was, as the boy was still kind of lost in his day dreaming. Yeah, how could he forgot his grandmother’s personal secretary?
“Where’s my grandma?”
“Ma’am is in the drawing room Mr. She’s waiting for you”
“I know”
HyunSeung gave the older male a small smile before making his way to the room
“Grandma, I’m home”
The doe eyed boy approached his grandmother who was sitting on a leather chair and gave her a warm hug. The old woman smiled happily as she pulled him back and looked at her grandchild:
“Seungie ah, you’re really grown up dear. Four years haven’t seen you make me feel like more than ten years. Ah… Look Seungie, you’re taller than before”
“Of course Grandma, how can I not be taller?”
HyunSeung chuckled slightly and sat down next to his grandmother
It’s so great to be at home and see his grandmother after years
“And hey HyunSeung, when will you start your study here?”
After talking for a while his grandmother suddenly asked him as she had just remembered that her Seungie was still a university student
“Ah, maybe two days later grandma. I’ll come to Seoul University”
“Really? It’s good dear”

“Is it hurt?”
GiKwang stared down blankly at the ground beneath his feet. He was standing on the roof top of a building belonging to his university, and the distance from his spot to the ground was nearly 500 meters. Just one step and his boring life would completely end without any hesitation
“Is it hurt?”
The boy asked himself; somehow his body had leaned forward a bit. He continuously stared at the ground, too absorbed to ho his work to notice that someone had stood with him form a while
“Is it hurt?”
GiKwang thought again and his feet stepped forward. At that moment he was really nearly stood on the edge. Just being careless a bit and GiKwang would die
“If I were you I would never try to kill myself in that way. It’s really hurt you know”
The boy was startled and took some steps back at the strange voice. He confusedly looked up only to find that there was another boy standing near him. He was really handsome. GiKwang thought and immediately slapped his head mentally for having such a weird thought. He cocked his head and answered:
“No I’m just…wondering…”
“Wondering what?”
“No. Nothing”
GiKwang said and turned his back, bumbling to the exit of the roof top. As he was walking downstairs, the boy couldn’t help but think vaguely
What would happen if that boy didn’t come to the roof top and talk to him? Would he really jump from it?
