...So I guess it's as 'No' on the fanfic thing, huh?
Anyways, it's one of the busiest days of the year for us in accounting firms-- The Day Before Tax Day *dum dum*. So I'm really swamped and this will thus be a short entry.
Had a good weekend. Did (too much) shopping (lately I seem to be going way too much into shopping therapy-- or simply a desire to change my image or class myself up), ate out, hung out with both Greg, a sorta!date, and Angela, cleaned my place (slightly, the toddlers were over again and reversed my hard work as I did it along with the kitties' help), and had some much needed nap time. I even hung out with Nick a bit, and he and Greg tricked me into drinking super!beer. :o
I never did make it out to Ground Zero, which is sad, but I had other fun times instead.
And I guess that's it. The speedy version, at least. Currently I'm about to return to working my arse off-- So please say 'Hi' or tell me a really bad joke. Here, I'll start:
So these 3 explorers go into the jungle and get caught by a group of cannibals. The king of the cannibals tells them that they have only one chance to not get eaten. "What do we do?" the explorers ask. "Go into the jungle and find 10 fruits that are the same and bring them to me."
So the explorers head off into the jungle. The first one returns with 10 apples. "Okay," he's told, "Now stick all 10 of those up your bum without making a face or noise." Freaked out, the guy complies, but on apple #2, he winces. So into the pot he goes.
The second one comes back with berries, so when he hears the spiel, he's happy. 'This should be easy' he thinks. 1, 2, 3--- 7, 8, 9-- and on number nine he bursts into laughter. So he gets eaten.
Later, in the afterlife, the first explorer is boggling at the second. "Why in the hell did you laugh? You were almost home clear!" The second explorer laughs a bit. "Well, this is true-- And I would have made it too, up until the point I saw Dr. Johnson coming up with a pile of pineapples."
