Character Meme and OG Update

I got the letter M:
1. Mikhail from Seal of Roses - Hehehehehehheh. What can I say about Saeko!vampire? Mikhail starts out life as a monk and ends up a tangoing demon of hotness. 'Nough said. (SheHe's the one in uniform, it's not the best picture by far) Seal of Roses was one of the first 'Zuka shows I saw, and yeah, it's a good one, especially Mikhail. ;-)
2. Marcos from Valencia no Atsui Hana - Marcos might just be a background character, but dammit, she's he's a cute one. I'm especially partial to Marcos because Valencia was the show that was going on when I first joined Chigi's club. So yes. Marcos = srs big-eyed cuteness (in the green).
3. Marguerite St. Juste from The Scarlet Pimpernel - One of my favourite fictional heroines EVER and (at least from the digests) magnificently played by Asuka (as well as all the Broadway and movie actresses before her). Margot is impulsive, passionate, a talented actress and pretty made of win, well, except for when she's almost getting herself, Percy and the rest of the League killed by trying to help. ;-)
4. Manrico from A Kiss to the Flames - A photo of Wao as Manrico with Hana as Leonora was the first bit of Zukaness I ever saw (it wasn't actually this one, but it was close, so you get the idea. So as not to spoil the plot, Manrico is a gypsy and sweeps Leonora off her feet. Basically alll the swashbuckling angst you could ever want. *G*
5. Marie Antoinette from Rose of Versailles - Hana as Marie is incredibly breathtaking, and so lovely. Ok, so Marie isn't /technically/ fictional, but then, since when is Berubara based on fact? ;-) Hana's Marie is caught up in the beauty of life and the love of her Fersen. Also, she has fluffy dresses of hugeness and shiny. *giggle*

And your random OG update for the day: while looking for an image of Hana as Marie, I came across this page and realised I'd never paid any attention to the other actresses at Goldenbird, besides Nettan and Narumi. If I had I would have realised that Matoo is one of Chigi's batchmates, who was in Hoshi and retired in 2004. SHE IS SO CUTE! (Also very HOT!) Her personal site is here and you can listen to clips of some of her songs here and here, under songs. Yeah. I love having new OGs to fangirl. I think in my next life I want to come back as an OG who works for Goldenbird. *giggle*
