Family Fun
As I sit here, still slightly damp and VERY full, I contemplate my afternoon and can't help but smile....
We just returned from Jen's house...
'Hayli's Mom' Jen...
not 'Josh's' Jen...
or ' Blue Fairy' Jen...
or 'Sears' Jen...
(There are way too many Jen's right now...)
...and had the time of our live's! Great food and company. It was for Dylene's birthday. Now that I think about it I never said 'Happy Birthday'...I'm a bad girl...Sorry Dylene and 'Happy Birthday!!'. Anyhew, there was badmitton (sp?), water guns...(Danny, you bastard!), drumming and lotsa laughing. And beer! Don't forget the beer!! I haven't had that much fun in eons. I must admit, I was kinda wary of this gathering at first. For no 'real' reason either, from what I can tell. Go figure. But this completely restored the faith. The only other thing that I'm craving now is a good ol' fashion EARL roleplay game!
(Earl, we miss you!! We want our kick-ass DM back!!!)
I mean it! We've all talked about alot lately and really miss 'the good ol' days'. Plot rich with twists, turns and sink holes! NPC's that make us cry, for real! Villians that actually make us angry! *sigh* The good ol' days, indeed.
I want to extend my thanks to all those present today! It was great, more than great. We had a blast. I'm glad that after all this time we can still just hang out and be cool. Chris had an awesome time! He can't stop talking about it. I love you guys, thanks!!!!
