Another day...
Can't seem to win these days....
The weather outside is indeed frightful. But there's no delightful fire, and if there was I'm quite sure that it would be in the kitchen and not delightful in the slightest. Anyhew...It's suppose to snow again tonight and into tomorrow, canceling my girl's night. So I now have a Saturday off, with NOTHING to do! I have no clue what to do on a Saturday!! I work in retail, I never get Saturday's off!!! The sky will soon crash around our ears!!!! RUN!! RUN!!!!! IIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

On a slightly less apocalyptic note, I finished the 5th 'Series of Unfortunate Events' book. Yes, I'm a dork. And if I may, I'd like to report that the movie was absolutly nothing like the books. And the books are better. I never thought I'd turn into one of those purest zealots, but here I am....
The stories leave me kinda wondering though, will those poor kids ever find a happy ending? I have the worst feeling that this series is actually going to end on a low note, the way the indivivual books do. Which is alright I guess, just kind of un settling. We're raised accustomed to happy, perky, wonderful endings in which we're reassured that everything turns out alright in the end. Maybe it just boils down to your outlook on life. In which case I think the Lemony Snickett, in his literay brillance, is a firm believer in a pesimistic outlook. But...to each his own I suppose....
