The universe evidently does not want us to go soak in hot springs.
The first time we tried, back in New Mexico, we nearly got stuck partway up a mountain in a blizzard. (We are smrt.)
The second time we tried, also in New Mexico, we got all the way up the mountain only to discover that the park closed at 5 rather than the 10 p.m. that it said on their website. Guess what time we got there?
Today? We got our update live right on schedule and were getting ready to leave when we discovered a major problem with the database. By the time it was fixed, it was too late to go to the hot spring.
*shakes fist at universe* I will get my hot water yet, dammit!
