Random moment from inside my brain:
Last night I was telling Amy about an idea I have for a future tattoo -- a celtic knotwork tree of life, probably either blackwork or very subtly shaded in greens and blues and purples. We were discussing possibilities for placement, specifically; I think I want it centered somewhere on my torso, and I already have a project going over my spine, so my upper back is out, and I've never been crazy about lower back tattoos. So, quoth I, "maybe I could put it over my sternum... nah, that's too visible."
And then I looked down at my left arm with its brightly coloured flowers going all the way down to my fingers, and realized the absurdity of what I'd just said, and cracked up.
