I'll probably be mostly offline for a day or three. I fell off my bike this afternoon, and am scraped up and a little shaky. I'll be okay, but my knee is turning purple and swelling up, and since I landed face-first, I need to have my teeth checked out tomorrow

Do I ever! My mother's memorial day party was crawling with 'em. (Okay 2 + their families, but still, I have their info + the number of the one that dentist #1 sends her kids to.) Of course, they're all in queens. One is in astoria, the other two forest hills I think. I'll give mom a ring now and ask if any of them has an edge in the trauma department.

Thank you so, so much. I have major dentist phobia, thanks to a first-rate asshat I encountered a few years back, so I particularly need someone gentle, patient, and willing to take immediately take their damn hands OUT of my mouth if I start to panic.
