I went to Shakespeare this morning to find that Monday when I slept in we were assigned partners and a 15 minute presentation over something in 12th Night. Did I mention this assignment wasn't in the syllabus? Did I also mention that Saturday I'm required to go to Springfest for an hour, then Monday I have the rough draft of a 10 page paper due, and in 2 weeks I have to be part of a group to review the class for the midterm? And that's just that class! I have a 25 minute presentation on Wednesday in women's studies, and all I know is that it's over "music past and present". I haven't had a chance to meet with or even talk to my group; I have (this is relatively minor) a take home essay exam due next Thursday; I haven't even started on my Spanish essays, which are due next Monday; then the final Shakespeare paper is due the 30th; Spanish spoken exams start the 27th; the final exam review for Shakespeare is the 28th; and I have a character study (really short actually) due the 29th. Seriously, when am I supposed to get this done? Oh, and I emailed my Shakespeare prof my late assignments last Friday, and she still hasn't gotten back to me about whether or not she received them. She has to be the worst professor I've ever had about checking her goddamn email. Actually, worst professor ever. We don't actually talk about the plays in class, she's pretentious as hell, and snobby and unavailable to talk to.
I'm trying really really hard not to freak out, but I don't think I'm going to make it. How am I supposed to get all this done, have time to research, write, and meet with groups when I have to work all weekend, and when I'm afraid you won't believe that I have to meet with people for school? I have to be able to meet with my groups to get this stuff done. You have to understand that.
