(no subject)
So karohemd is awesome, and bought me paid time! I was only going to post a few of the nine pictures we took outside yesterday, but I'm posting them all so he can see them!
The pictures were taken on impulse after I showed nyterose the new dress that I got. He broke out the fairy wings, and he liked it so much he grabbed the camera. I told him if he was going to do that, we were gonna go outside. I put my sandals on and we trekked out to the backyard.
It was a sunny day, and everything looked very nice -- but what the camera doesn't catch is the HORDES OF RAVENOUS MOSQUITOES that were trying to eat us alive! It made it slightly difficult to get some of the really great pictures we might have otherwise, because by the time we got past the fence and into the Back 40, I was just like 'Okay, go here ... got one? Next spot!'
We only ended up with nine pictures. I think it went relatively well, considering it was with no planning or forethought and we didn't have a tripod or anything. We may do some more pictures in the future, only with a bit more planning and better costuming (I had my watch on, and forgot to take my glasses off a couple times) and BUG REPELLANT.
Fairy Dress 1
This one came out rather blurry, but I almost like it this way. My hand's behind my back because it's holding my glasses, which I didn't want to have on for the pictures. (What fairy wears glasses? o.O)

Nice idea, didn't turn out so well. For one, the look on my face is pretty bleah, and plus HI LOOK RIGHT DOWN THE FAIRY'S DRESS.

Now this one is one of my favorites. He snapped this one while I was walking out, and it came out, like, perfect.

Curious look, or a doofus look, who knows. The sun was also in my eyes, which sucked.
This also shows that I'm a bit on the large side for being a fairy. I'm not a -fat- fairy, I'm a fairy that eats well, dammit!

The poor wings are getting old, and the joints don't stay put as well as they used to. We were going to flare out the wings all nice and pretty, but that didn't work out quite so good. Oh well.

I love this picture. Love it love it, except for one thing. I forgot to take my damn glasses off!

Took the glasses off for another picture, but the look on my face is pretty stupid. And my wings are crooked. *shrug*

*cough* No, that's -not- my watch on my right arm...
Seeing these makes me realize one thing. Fairies don't wear a size 13. They're chubby if they were a size 4. So I'm not a fat fairy, I'm just one that EATS. So there.
