Be Amazed
Welp, I've finally done it... I read the Harry Potter series. All of it. In a few weeks. With reading a full book or two in a sitting, then a short break, then the next full book.
My thoughts? Good story. Loved it! So sad about some of the characters...
So, why did I just get around to reading them? Well, at the start, when they were first coming out, I had a list about a mile long of things I wanted to read. The first time or two someone told me to read Harry Potter, I mentally added it to the already extensive list. As more and more people told me to read the books, I got ornery, and decided to NOT READ them, just because everyone wanted me to drop everything and read them.
But a couple years ago I cracked, and started watching the movies... which eventually led me to decide, seeing as the series is complete now, I ought to read it. And I did.
