Not a normal after election post.

Pretty succinct, no? I suppose I could rail against the election so far, But I'm not surprised. People want safety, normalcy and comfort. They want to say "hey, I'm right and good and never make mistakes, despite what-ever the evidence to the contrary". They want to paint others of differing lifestyles, as wrong, evil, corrupt. They want that external validation that they can't get from deep inside.

This is your election. This is what you wanted in spirit if not in vote: to be right, to be better than everyone else, even if we're all supposedly equal.
