Who says food service jobs can't teach you something? While processing surplus mushrooms for storage(saute etc) I suddenly remembered my prep cook days at Perkin's.
Quick Cook Shrooms
~Mushrooms in a microwave safe container.
~ add herbs, salt, and a hunk of butter.
~cover with plastic wrap
~nuke for a minute to three
Voila, Shrooms in their own liquor butter herb sauce, ready to be served, added, fridged, or chilled and frozen
