Jaskee!
Okay, so officers were chosen for Drama Club next year. Here's the lineup:
President: Casey
Vice Pres: Colleen
Treasurer: ME!
Recording Sec: Pam
Corresponding Sec: Laura
So, yay! Anyone I've talked to about this knows that I really, really wanted to be treasurer- even more than President or Vice President. Treasurer is what I wanted, and I'M TREASURER so I am so incredibly happy! To be perfectly honest, the lineup surprised me when I first saw it. But the more I think about it, the more I like it. I think it fits and I think it'll work. Apparently, there was some heated arguing about the order (the people were all agreed upon, but not who exactly got what title) going on, and Raakhee said that I was the only one that was almost instantly agreed upon, and that all the others were argued about. Heh. I guess I'm just a Treasurer kind of gal! *laugh* So... I'm unbelievably happy about that.
And Forensics- I'm Vice President! Pam, of course, is President (she's the new Emily Schmitt!), and Rebecca is Registration Coordinator. But I'm really excited about that too, because I wanted to be Vice President of Forensics also. There wasn't as much competition in this category so I didn't think about it as much so I'm not quite as YAY! about it, but that makes me really happy also.
If I had made these lists myself with only myself in mind, those are exactly the two titles I would have had. So I'm really psyched! Today I've just been in such a good mood in general, and this only boosted it by like... a million tons! So...
YAY!
PS- My new name is Jaskee. 'Jas' from Jason, since he was Treasurer this year, and 'kee' from Raakhee, since she as Vice President of Forensics this year. Hehe.
