La dee da...
NO DRAMA TODAY. Now, I love drama, but a day off is real nice occasionally. I mean, I did still work my ass off on the souvenir program... but oh well. No going in to school, which was a good break for me.
I had my eyes re-checked today. It was... fun... yeah. The doctor literally called me 'blind as a bat' at one point. Because on those charts with the letters, I had to squint to see the single-letter row without glasses. It was really sad. Even my mom was like, "I knew you had bad vision, but I didn't realize it was THAT bad." So I got updated contacts which made me happy, and I'm getting new glasses soon too. How exciting.
And I went to Pam's, too! It was me, her, Kyle, and Kara. We watched Pulp Fiction, which nobody except for Kyle had ever seen before (well, I sure SOME people have, but I meant out of us four...). It was really weird, and I didn't put a lot of it together until later... and I'm sure I have a lot more to put together, still. But... it was interesting. I think I liked it... I just recently got back, so I haven't really decided whether I like it or not. It was weird. Oh well.
Oh! And I was taking a walk today because it was nice outside and I was bored. And so I'm walking through this neighborhood, and this reeeeeally sketchy-looking guy with a cigarette is sitting in a car (stopped and not even turned ON) in some random driveway, all slouchy and suspicious-like. And he calls me over, and I was like "Uhh, do you need something...?" Because if he needed directions or something, I didn't want to be rude. And he shook his head vaguely, and called for me again, and I got so scared! And instead of something sensible, like "Sorry, I don't have time" or something, I say "No!" and start running. How stupid was that? I guess it was the 'right thing' but it was really funny, looking back and all. hehe. :)
