Random geek annoyances

I'm rather pissy with organizations such as W3C, and probably unreasonably. I spend a lot of time on the W3C site, as I need to know specifications for all sorts of technologies I am working with. But there's no way to download the documents (other than a Save As... ;p), no way to make them more portable other than printing them out (which I have to admit, I like having a hardcopy sometimes so I can make notes to it, but geez thats a lot of wasted paper). Ideally I would like it to be even downloadable in some kind of (RSS?) feed, hell even give me XML so I can transform it. I suppose that the W3C HTML should be good enough to be loaded as an XML doc, but not as transformable as plain XML. ;p I know I'm being randomly nitpicky, but I can download JavaDocs, the .Net SDK documentation, etc... Goddamnit give me my pure technical specifications in a downloadable format! I want to have a whole reference archive on my Palm!
Maybe I am being unreasonable? ^_^ They probably figure that these days you can always have an internet connection to view their site with... I guess I should see how my Sidekick views the W3C site, though I prefer my Palm over my Sidekick any day. Sigh.

work, geek
