So this morning, on my way into work, I am delayed by a horrendous accident. Two cars northbound hit an SUV, which flipped over the Jersey wall and landed on top of a Mustang. It was on fire when I first noticed the accident, and smoldering, covered in chemical when I got to it. The police had finally allowed traffic to pass on the shoulder, and when three cars tried to go at once, they all stopped/blocked the path. One woman got out of her car to yell at the cops, saying "Get that shit outta the way! I gotta go to the city!" I found myself quoting Lisa Baden. I shouted from the car, "Don't be stupid. Look at what's going on around you! Lives are changing. You're inconvenienced."

God I hate Oklahoma.
