April 6: Baguio

Apr 08, 2007 16:01

3:25am

We arrived at Baguio around 5pm yesterday. We stayed at some person's vacation house. Three stories high, 200 pesos per person. You can use as many rooms as you want or are available. Pretty good offer.

Anyways, we ended up drinking at the place. I started off with a beer and ended up consuming half a bottle of white wine all by myself. Then I sang karaoke until my voice gave out. I got pretty horrible scores.

I think I drank too much. More alcohol than any other liquid at least.

I woke up around three am groggy on the floor, severely dehydrated. I fished around and found a glass somewhere and drank lots of water til I had to piss. Then my piss smelled like alcohol.

I'm never doing this again.

I'm going back to sleep.

7:44pm

When will I ever learn that family outings are more trouble than they're worth? The larger the group, the slower you go. Taking into consideration that there're more than thirty people in our group, It would've been obvious at the onset that this was going to be one slow painful vacation.

In this aspect, it hasn't disappointed.

We spent around two hours getting lost in Baguio looking for some nunnery where we spent approximately ten minutes doing nothing. And then we headed of to Camp John Hay to see the ukay-ukay.

All the while I had a damn stomachache.

The fun doesn't stop there, we also went to PMA and found out it closes at 4:30. So another big waste of time. We waited at a caltex station near Victory Liner where my dad decided he was dizzy and needed to go to the hospital.

So here I am, with my stomachache, sitting outside a hospital, typing bitter words into a laptop.

I hope the rest of the vacation goes well.
