crunch time

March 8, 2008 was a good day for me.

We had our annual BEST sportsfest yesterday. BEST stands for BA vs Econ vs Stat. There were a lot of events so that everyone could join in on the fun, even if they weren't into sports. I signed up for basketball, but I also got to play tug-of-war and space stuffing (which vaguely reminded me of a party I once attended).

Econ didn't do too well, but we all had fun (I think). I got to meet old friends from other colleges and got to spend time with people from Econ. I got to play for a few minutes of the basketball game too as a backup center and it felt good to be able to play again.

After BEST, we met up for "Ready, Stretch, Go," our fun run and aerobics event. Some final preparations and reminders... which really took a long time now that I think about it. We went off to Philcoa to pick up our tarpaulin and try and sell some boxes of juice. Picking up the tarpaulin took LONGER than expected because the store was closed and we had to call up the manager to re-open the store and get the tarpaulin for the event.

I got home relatively late and found work waiting for me in my inbox. Instead of working on it, I slept since we had to manage the fun run.
