Back at work
Ok, so the news in brief:
I'm back at work for a month. First day is today. So far, it's been rather boring, but I listen to the guys talk and it's fun. They have a new guy in the office. They put him in the corner, where it's really dark, cause a perfectly good space, right in the center of the office was reserved for me ^^ Ok, so that probably wasn't the only reason. But point being, I have a better spot than some really smart guy. I is happy. lol
And this time, they're actually paying me much more. 600 SIT/hour (that's about 3.7 CAD). Before, when I was here for school, I was paid 1200 SIT/day. See the difference? lol. It's now 4800 SIT/day, so 4 times as much. It's done wonders for my motivation already ^^
I'm done with school till October. The only thing missing is a grade for the work I did at the bank in january-march. I must email the professor and nag to speed things up >_> I got just about the best grades possible on everything else. You know how the Americans have A, B, C... ? Well, we have 10, 9, 8, ... 2, 1. Anything over 5 is a pass. I got 11 grades, all 10s. Mom insists that means the school is crap. It's not crap. It's just not very demanding. lol. But anyways, I is happy ^^
Also, I need to change my lj. Cause this is ugly. Alas, I lack inspiration, so it might take me a while >_>
Oh! And for those who don't know yet: After a few months of "looking" for a job, Mat has found one. He's gonna be a cashier at Safeway. They'll pay him more than twice as much as me, so... money! He'll be able to feed me when I go there in 1 month and 3 weeks and possibly take me places, if we don't end up being all lazy, again ^^
