Welcome to the New Year 2007 and all. I'm excited...aren't you?
Here's the latest:
1. Staying at GB. I am going to finish my BA in English. I won't be graduating until the fall now but so is life and a lack of motivation. Luckily, I have found motivation and a new game plan so life is good. :)
2. I will start on some classes at NWTC either this spring or over the summer. I'm still going to get a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management (yippee) but I'm going to have that bachelor's to back it up.
3. The new long term career plan: Finish at GB, get HRM degree, get a job (hopefully either in Sales and Catering or Meeting Plan). Work on getting the hours I need to take the CMP (and pass it of course :) ) And maybe, eventually work on getting some more Hotel Management stuff under my belt.
4. New Year's resolutions: (Sorry but it seems kinda appropriate and I hardly ever post.) a. Get my butt in gear for school and do all work to the best of my abilities, not just to get it done.
b. Control my spending and get my finances back under control, and as part of that pay off the damn credit cards.
c. Remember to have fun. No hiding in holes, but at the same time keeping goals a and b in mind.
