(no subject)
Oh dear...it's been a while since I posted anything...
Last time I updated I mentioned the fundraising job I had obtained. Well that lasted a grand total of one week. How I lasted that long I do not know. Going door to door is not fun. It is in fact soul destroying. People do like having their supper interrupted. And so, one week into it I was offered a position as a lab Assistant, which I naturally took, and said goodbye to the world of charity fundraising and have not regretted it!
Which leads me rather nicely (at least I thought so) into my next point. LAB ASSISTANT. I had all but given up hope of getting a science based job. But I got one. And they pay really well. OK so I'm not actually doing any science, but hey it's a step towards it right?
I'm working out by Hermiston Gate for Scottish water, which currently means a lot of travelling. A lot of expensive travelling. In fact the cost of travelling is roughly what I would pay in rent were I to move back into Edinburgh. So I started thinking, did some sums(adding and subtracting...carried a few 2's) and finally started looking.
I have a couple of flat viewings this week.
That's right Edinburgh! I'm coming back!!!
