Ice, ice, ice
Friday we had freezing rain, rain , freezing rain on top of our snow packed and ice covered roads that it all turned to more ice. Last night everything was sparkling, and bright under the full moon, but cold! It was -15 degrees this morning. Even thought it all looks beautiful in a very cold way, everything is covered in 1/2 inch or more of ice. The poor young birch trees are bowed way down. Branches have broken, the road is treacherous. Forecast tomorrow is rain then snow again. Welcome winter.
