Yuletide letter!

Dear Benevolent Yuletide Being,

'sup! I feel like I laid out most of my specific guidance in my requests, and hopefully those'll be helpful. However if you want more ideas, here are some generalities!

I love details. I really dig unusual narrative styles. I don't like fic that's just one character being introspective or rehashing canon.

I like fic that's wistful or funny or about something beyond just the relationship (tree forts or an event or a cupcake quest or whatever), or about the details of everyday life. You can probably get a feel for my taste through my favorite stories on delicious.

I love humor. I love crazy cracky premises. I love futurefic. I love a/us.

I LOVE girls being friends, so if you can work that into any of the requests, I'll be thrilled.

And, okay, more specific details:

Community: For Abed/Troy, the clincher moment for me was in the Halloween episode: "Be the first black man to get to the end." I love how perfectly in sync they are, and the badass things they're in sync about. (Pillow forts forever!) Or for Abed/anyone, just the way he processes the world, how he'd handle moments of personal discovery through his usual unsurprised demeanor. (Plus, obvs, lots of pop culture would be fun.)

Office RPF: I basically feel like these are old friends who live far away and I'd love to know what's up with them. With some bonus added wistfulness about the passage of time, etc. I'm a huge sucker for the kinds of details that can be dredged up from Mindy's Twitter or Jenna's blog (or MIndy's blog, RIP!), especially super old stuff. I generally dig UST, for any of the pairings I mentioned. I really love the sense of community and family you get from the cast, in that fun RPF-y way.

30 Rock: Liz/Conan: awkwardness and hilarity, man, I don't think you can go wrong here. Bonus points for Jack or Tracy. Or Liz, say, eating pie in bed, or whatnot. Ten katrillion kudos if you can somehow work in the Conan vs. NBC stuff.

Thanks so much for writing for me!
