Wow! Its been another successful read-a-thon. I may have missed the first few hours but the near 20 hours that I participated in should count for something. And it was tons of fun!
The end has arrived, so here we go!
- Which hour was most daunting for you? Hours 22 and 23 since I started crashing
- Could you list a few high-interest books that you think could keep a Reader engaged for next year? Wow, any graphic novel is a great pick me up, especially if you're reading longer or denser books. Nordic Noir is really popular right now. Jo Nesbo is a wonderful writer and really engaging.
- Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year? Maybe more cheerleading in the later hours
- What do you think worked really well in this year’s Read-a-thon? I liked a lot of the later mini challenges. Some were really fun
- How many books did you read? 5
- What were the names of the books you read? Carpathia, 30 Days of Night, 30 Days of Night: Darkest Days, 30 Days of Night #2.5, and Haunted Greenville
- Which book did you enjoy most? Carpathia
- Which did you enjoy least? Hmm, maybe 30 Days of Night. I did like it, but I thought the sequel was better.
- If you were a Cheerleader, do you have any advice for next year’s Cheerleaders?
- How likely are you to participate in the Read-a-thon again? What role would you be likely to take next time? Probably still a reader, but I'd definitely do it in October if I'm available
