Dogsitting Weekend
This weekend, I had canine companionship! I dogsat for Sadie, Tabitha's new sweetie. She's a terrier mutt of some sort. Tabitha got her from the animal shelter a week or so ago. The poor girl suffers from separation anxiety, meaning whenever her owners leave, she worries it is for good, and she shows her worrying by tearing things up. (She's totally sweet otherwise, though.)
Well, Tabitha and Dave were gone this weekend for Tabitha's homecoming, so I volunteered to watch Sadie. I got to feed her, and walk her, and cuddle with her...it was great! I also didn't leave the house, lest Sadie tear stuff up, from Thursday evening through Sunday evening. Well, except for Friday during the day, and then Brad and later Tim & Ellen came over to cover for me. I miss dogs! She was kinda shy though, and she didn't really play much. Her eyes don't even follow a bouncing tennis ball. I think she'll come out of her shell eventually, she just didn't this weekend.
