I'm such a proper little housewife at the moment.
Had a really good day, despite babysitting on my own for most of it. Lily was as good as gold, apart from waking up at 5.30am. Managed to get the house tidied, play with the dogs, and make a cracking sausage casserole that even Lily and Sam really liked. I'd never appreciated how difficult it is to run a house, definitely not planning on having kids for at least another ten years. Wouldn't be able to cope otherwise!
Lily crawled a bit more today (4 steps!), and is very close to saying a proper "hello". She attempted to say "hello Nanny" to Mum, you could make it out but it's not proper talking yet.
I'm planning to learn a to cook a few more things this week. Starting with a batch of fairy cakes and a pavalova! Mmmm.
I think I deserve a nice evening's rest now!
