Senate developments
First off, good news for McConnell. Governor Beshear says he will not run against McConnell in 2014. Beshear has run against McConnell before and decided he didn't want a second go around. He would have been a credible candidate, knowing what it would take to win statewide and also knowing what he would be in for.
