"If seeds in the black earth can turn into such beautiful roses..."

Well, it's been a long (long, long) time coming, but the 14th volume of SEEDS Literary and Arts Magazine is finally, officially, all the way out and available for perusal/purchase. Though it's been a long, ridiculous ride, and certainly everything didn't go as I (we) would've liked it to, I am still extremely pleased with/proud of the final product. Of course, if you still go to Dreyfoos, you can pick it up anytime during the year in the SEEDS/creative writing room, or at the sales they'll be having at lunch. But if you've graduated, well, there are a few options. If you're not leaving for a while and have the time, you can probably drop by school and pick it up (just be careful not to get arrested, ha). If you can't do that, you can always write a letter to the staff with a money order or check made out to SEEDS, requesting a book/books be sent to you at your college or at home (Seeds Literary Magazine c/o Dreyfoos School of the Arts, 501 S. Sapodilla Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33401). Or, you could comment on the SEEDS LiveJournal (seeds_of_art) or LiveJournal community at http://www.livejournal.com/community/seedstosow. And if you're still having trouble for some reason, you can always contact me, and I'll get you in touch with the editors/staff of this year. The books are $10 a piece, with the exception of $5 for people whose work is published in it. I hope you all give the book a thorough look-over, and enjoy what you see.

Beyond that, since this seems to be that informative type of post, here is my new contact information. My address, starting Saturday, will be:

Melissa Jacobowitz
5700 N. Tamiami Trail, Box 718
Sarasota, FL 34243-2197

Everyone, please feel free to send me anything you feel like, if you have any desire to do so. I'm sure I'll be aching for words/things/smells from home. Also, my new e-mail address will be melissa.jacobowitz@ncf.edu. I really think that the most consistent way to keep in touch with people while I'm up in school will probably be regular e-mails with the occasional phone call. So, please e-mail me anytime, no reason necessary.

Saturday. That's 5 days from now. It's feeling realer every second. I'm getting kind of scared.
