I just found that that even though I preregistered to vote three months ago and will be 18 almost a month before the election I still will not be able to vote. I pre-registered around the same time you did, I think, and we were told that as long as you turn 18 before the election and register up to 29 days before the election, you're able to vote. I told my dad what you heard and he's going to call tomorrow to check up on what we heard, so hopefully, everything's still good.

If you write a Congressman, they actually do read your letter and send it off to D.C., or give it to the man himself if he's there. I worked for Foley over the summer and they actually try their hardest to be helpful, because otherwise they'd be bored (and they're antsy when they're bored!).
