Kyo looked around, short of breath. Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to leave home. He had managed to register himself in school (he wasn't quitting shit because of that worthless piece of shit woman called "mom") and find a dry place to lay his head at night, but it couldn't last long. Homeless people had grown harsher and crueler to the day. He was not ready to defend himself. He didn't even own a weapon, and he wasn't going to get involved in a gang to save his own ass.
He leaned against the brick wall, a whole 2 hours before class started, and lit up a cigarette, breathing out calmly, watching the smoke dance into the air. Inside he was weak, but he needed to appear strong. Nobody could fuck with him.
Kyo looked around, seeing a younger looking boy walking towards him "Fuck my life." Kyo mumbled under his breath and put out his cigarette
The boy had long black hair and looked stern with a heavy jawline. His voice was low and soothing and exactly what he wanted to hear. "You okay? Most people aren't here early unless they have nothing to go to."
Kyo stared at him grimly for a moment before breaking his stare as the other boy didn't cower. "I guess you could say that."
"I'm Kaoru."
"I'm Kyo."

Kyo looked around the spacious apartment.
"Kaoru....I cant help pay for this..."
The boy smiled at him. "Yeah, you can. Sing for me. even if you aren't that good. For now, were going to do acoustic stuff and use the gig money to pay for this apartment. Shinya and Die will just have to play quietly."
The blonde smiled, humming some of the words to a famous folk tune then looking at Kaoru. "Can I sing my own lyrics?"
Kaoru looked at the ground for a second. "Depends. Sing them."
Kyo shut his eyes and began to sing, then growl, then sing and yell his deepest thoughts and feelings, his words echoing around the apartment with vigor and the lack of curtains and furniture to absorb the powerful sound.
"Perfect." Kaoru mumbled.
Kyo ended his song, opening his eyes to see Kaoru close to his face.
"Whoa!" He squeaked and stepped back. "I didn't realize I had gotten so close to you."
Kaoru smiled, taking Kyo in and against him, "Me either." and pressed his lips to Kyos.

Shinya's face flushed, and I was dumbstruck. I just fucked up...I haven't even been here a day.
"KYO! TELL HIM!" Shinya was on the brink of tears and very upset.
"Toshiya." He mumbled sitting up, turning on the light then looking back at me with an angry expression. "You're a fucking tool. I'm with Kaoru. Why else would I live with him you dumbshit?!" He smirked then leaned back a little, exposing his jawline, making him superior
"WHAT THE FUCK!" I screamed back in fury, holding back my will to beat this little blondes ass.
"Well, I mean, you're cute, but. Seriously? You're younger than me, and you're way immature. Kaoru is 19. You're lucky that you're so smart, or you would be a grade away from us. You and Shin both. Now. DONT FUCKING TOUCH ME AGAIN."
My Jaw dropped. He was pinning this shit on me?!
"NO! Fuck that! You're going to pin this on me?!" I laughed for a second, astonished at the audacity of the singer, "I'm going to tell Kaoru!"
Shinya smirked, then mumbled, "Well, not if I get to him first."
Kyo growled at Shinya "You're supposed to be my best friend!"
Shinyas eyes watered, "You're not going to tear the band up Kyo! Die and Kaoru and I have worked so hard for it to be where it is! You're almost as new as Toshiya!"
Kyo angered for a moment. Then calmed down.
"Okay. so you're right. I'm sorry Toshiya."
I was shocked, no way did he just apologize to me! I looked at him for a second, then snapped "I don't fucking believe you."
Shinya groaned, then quietly asked, "Can we just go to bed? And this time I'm in the middle."
I remember dreaming as I fell into slumber and my heart racing. It scared me to see Kyo act vulnerable. He had kissed me, that much I know is real.
...
"Kaoru...PLEASE...I know.....Nu- ARGHH! IM SORRY!" I sat on the edge of Shinyas bed next to the drummer as Kyo yelled into the phone. Obviously, Kaoru was pissed, and SHinya was on cloud nine as Kyo suffered for Shinyas tell-tell skills.
"I didn't think you'd actually tell." I mumbled out of the corner of my mouth as Kyo practically did back flips explaining his actions.
"You aren't the first Totchi-chan. I've seen Kyo mess up alot. Kaoru is just keeping him in line."
I saw Kyo stand straight, get quiet and say "Okay Bye." before shutting his phone. He looked at Shinya watery eyed and quietly spoke:
"He....he left me."
