Summary: Toshiya is a 13 year old boy who eventually runs away from home. Unfortunatly bumps into some people and is left to die. Thankfully Kyo takes him in. But eventually, Kyo has to take Toshiya back to his home in order to protect Toshiya from Kyo's thoughts....
Comments: Yeh... I dont really know where I'm going with this fic. It's doing okay now so just gotta keep it that way. c:
Chapter 4
Toshiya saw Kyo walk out, he didnt really care though. His leg had gotten better very fast so he hadn't broken it thankfully. Toshiya realised that he hadn't eaten for over 2 days, minus the muffin he had and hunger kicked in. His stomach growled loudly and he felt sick. After a few minutes he made the decision to find food and slowly got to his feet. He could stand but he was a little shakey so he leaned on the bed slightly. His first step was bad but after a few more the were getting better and he had reached the open door of the bedroom. He felt very accomplished by then.
He look out to see the hallway, leading to the lounge room and kitchen. 'Kitchen! Food!' His mind sprung up and he made his way down the hallway. He reached the other end and saw the kitchen. 'Mmmm...I wonder if he has anymore muffins....wait...he..Kyo...oh shit..what if he's home?' Toshiya listened for any sound. He heard nothing, Kyo was probaly out now. He calmed a bit and made his way to the fridge.
"hmm nothing here really... maybe there's stuff in the cupboard?" He closed the fridge door and moved to the cupboard.
"Muffins....muffins...no..not here...AH..there!" He grabbed the chocolate muffin only to stuff it in his mouth a second later. He was too busy eating that he hadn't heard the door open and close quietly.
"Well well well, I guess you must be Kyo's new kitten?" Toshiya's head snapped around to see a tall man wearing a suit. Toshiya stared with his mouth full, with a surprised or scared expression. " Aww doesn't Kyo feed you? I knew he was bad at looking after pets." The man smirked and moved closer to help the boy up. Toshiya stared like a stunned mullet at the man, not knowing what to think.
"Oh, how rude of me not to introduce myself, my name is Kaoru. I'm Kyo's good friend." He held out his hand to shake with Toshiya but the boy simply stared at his hand. "Okay then..... whats your name?" Kaoru pulled his hand back and stared at the boy.
'Who is this man? I'm scared...he seems like he could be worse than Kyo..' Toshiya realised that Kaoru had asked for his name. The thought he'd tell the man his name, since he saw no harm in it.
"Muhh.." Kaoru put a finger to the boy's lips as crumbs fell out of his mouth when he began to speak. "Ah, don't speak with your mouth full. It's not polite." He moved his finger and Toshiya finished chewing the food filling his mouth. "I..I'm sorry, my name is Toshiya." The man smiled and started to go to the lounge room putting an arm around Toshiya's shoulders. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Toshiya. Kyo has told me about you before." They sat down at the couch quietly.
They soon started a conversation and it had lasted 15 mintues before the door opened. "Kaoru, what are you doing here?" Kyo asked, holding to grocery bags and carrying them to the kitchen. "Oh I stopped by to say hi to you but you were'nt home and I found Toshiya." Kyo joined them in the living room and sat on a chair instead of the red soft couch. It wasn't that there was no room left he just prefered his chair instead.
"I have something important to say," He paused, making sure they were listening. "I have made up my mind that I'm going to take Toshiya back to his home." Both of them looked at Kyo a bit worried.
"Aww but Kyo? What if Toshiya doesn't have parents? Or even a home? Kyo give him to me, I'll look after him." Kaoru whinned.
"No. God knows what you'll do. I'm taking him back so he can get back to his life." Kyo gave Kaoru a very serious look which stopped Kaoru's pouting, only for it to start again.
"But Kyo, what if Toshiya has a terrible life and he came here to get away from it? Toshiya, did you run away from home?" Kaoru turned his head to look at Toshiya who nodded. "Ha! See, I told you so!" Kyo just shook his head.
"Toshiya's going back and thats final." With that he stood up and walked to the door to open it for Kaoru's exit. "Out. Now. You've annoyed me like usual and it's getting late." Kaoru stood up and so did Toshiya. Both heading to the door.
"See ya Kyo." He looked down at Toshiya. " See ya Totchi." He ruffled the boys hair which made Toshiya pout. "You're pretty cute." Kaoru smiled and turned to walk away.
Kyo shut the door and looked at the boy. "We need to talk." Kyo said and led them to the bedroom.
Toshiya usually heard his parents say that to him when he was in trouble. It made him feel very un-easy. But it always feels even worse when someone besides your parents say that. All he could think of was that he was in deep shit.....

I always hate it when ppl come up to you really serious and are all like "WE NEED TO TALK." It annoys me >:c
Toshiya's changing age will depend on the next 3 chapters? He will be over 17. That will give me space for some smexy-ness. I might be introducing new characters too but I'm not gonna give everything away yet lol.
