Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2012
AFA was fun :D

The hall only opened at 9, but I was already at the front gates before 8 XD; The people inside kept trolling with us by opening and closing the side doors, causing many people to yell and think the entrance wouldn't be through the main entrance, but the side ones XD I had to wait an hour but it was worth it :3
The first thing I did once I got in was go to the Animax booth, where they said they'd be giving HxH license cards. I'd expected the 'license cards' to be like the ones in the series, but naw, they're just normal paper cards with numbers on them XD;; (TT-TT)
But they gave me a huge 'K' bag anyway, with a notepad, the card and a nice K folder inside.
While waiting for Muu, I explored the place. The entire area was really cool, with lots of different booths and cosplayers.(Speaking of cosplay, someone was dressed up as Slenderman ^^;)
I think I overdid it at the gachas ^^; I bought six of them... But I don't do this often so I suppose it's alright. Anyway, I was fascinated XD; There were Hunter x Hunter gachas *-* (I've never seen one in Singapore, so it kind of... amazed me XD;) I got two Gons(yeah, two XD), Machi, Hisoka(it's creepy XD), Kurapika v.1 and Kurapika v.2. No matter how I tried I couldn't get Killua! TTwTT
When Muu arrived she and I went to a shop that was selling lots of stuff, and while I was browsing through the catalogue I noticed something-- among all the series with merchandise that was being sold in that shop, HxH was the series with the least merchandise. Four items. I'm pretty sure HxH is popular in Japan, but not as many people in Singapore seem to know about it as I thought X(
Anyway, the four items are--- an X-shaped fan, a mousepad, clear folders and Killua spectacle wipers(I really hadn't expected that!). I bought all four, and they gave me a huge One Piece carrier bag... Which is how I ended up with two huge bags to carry XD Everyone else was carrying either the One Piece bag, Baka and Test bag, K bag or some other bag(either way, just one!) but I didn't see anyone else carrying two bags! TT-TT
I want to upload a picture of the stuff I bought/got for free, but I don't seem to see the icon for uploading pictures... Or the whole bar that's usually above the entry box, for that matter... Which is why I couldn't make an LJ-cut. I'm really sorry if I'm spamming or annoying anyone with this long post ^^; Is it just me? Hmm... XD
Basically, Muu and I had fun going from booth to booth and eating the awesome food there! We had curry udon and takoyaki for lunch, and even though we wanted to go to the maid cafe at first, we didn't really feel like queueing up :P

It was really fun! I'm looking forward to Monday, because the Hunter x Hunter Animax competition starts then!
