(no subject)
Finally back in my bedroom. My mom has been making me clean it every night. When we clean, we fight, cuz she's a Nazi bout that sorta stuff, so tonight was pretty much the tip of the iceburg. Thankfully we're nearly done (most of the rest of what needs to be done I can do on my own since it's more along the lines of organizing instead of actual cleaning).
Dirk (previously refered to as the new guy is amusing to be around, as I figured something out: He's gay. Or at least bi, since he has an ex-wife and two daughters. I don't know why this one little factor entertains me so, and yet it does. I suppose it might be because although I've been around gay people before they've always been from my age group, but here is a man my parents' age who talks that different way and acts that different way. I'd call it 'slightly more bubbly then most men' plus of course his other little habits such as calling me "girl" a lot LOL I don't know why I didn't much notice it before, but now that I know it's kinda obvious. It mighta been the 5 day battle with narcolepsy that I'm just now seeming to get over (that was scary as bloody hell; I've never before experianced anything like that in my LIFE). Anyways, how I found out was he mentioned taping sci-fis but said "my partner, he doesn't like them though." I thought I heard he and not she but I didn't wanna presume so I said "what kind of shows do they like then?" and he said "he likes those home renivation shows." Yep, definately a he. Anyways, the two of us are working together better now. So well so at the end of the day in fact that we talked to Andy (our boss) cuz we just get on these adrenilan rushes and maul through the afternoon clean-up but consequently end up not taking our afternoon breaks so we asked if we could not take them and in turn leave early and he agreed. So you can bet I'm liking that ^.^
Tomorrow I'm going to Van with Ricky to make an appointment to get my tattoo done (money towards it = b-day present from mom) YAY!! Either they'll have drop-in time in which case I'll get it done tomorrow while I'm down there, or I'll get it done the day after (Sunday) with an appointment. My dad was gonna take me but he's super sick right now and was in the hospital last night T_T Didn't even find out about that till today; he didn't tell us! X_X Anyways, he's at home now...
