POSTY FROM ONTARIO VACATION! WOOTNESS XD
Hello gang! Well, here I am in Brampton, Ontario. Yesterday morning started with getting up at a nasty 5am. I had only grabbed about 1 hour of sleep previous to this so it made for a very tired Jen. We got ready to go and found out McDonalds wasn't open yet! They said normal hours (which is 24/7 drive thru back home) but they lied, and refused to open till 6am. While I was in the shower my mom called WestJet to make sure my flight was on time and it was, however, she recomended us coming in an hour and a half early to check in when previously we were told only half an hour was needed! O___O So we zoomed out the door without breakfast @_@
Stopped by The Max on the way there to grab gum. My ears are still plugged and internally swollen from the strep throat so there was concern that my ear drums were going to burst while flying, so we decided to grab me some gum to help with the plane pressure. Also grabbed twinkies for breakfast XD Since a dif McDoalds was near by and it was 6am we decided to grab some food to go.
Arrived at the air port, did all nessisary stuff, bid goodbye to the mother and boarded the plane. It was kinda freaky waiting alone to be boarded; I don't know why, probably because I've only been on a plane once before, never alone, and I've never been away from home this long before either. Yah, I never travel. Ever.
The plane ride was not so fun. I couldn't get comfortable in the seats, it was INSAINLY HOT and yah....Anyways, touched down in Toronto 4 1/2 hours later and followed the lady I was sitting next to to where we needed to pick up our bags as I had no idea where we were going and also we had started chatting in about the last half hour of the flight. My bag came first so she helped me attach everything together and off I went to find James.
That was much easier then I expected! I was quite fearful that I wasn't gonna recognise him and was gonna end up wondering around the air port forever XD Gave hug hello and the old guy standing next to him took my bag! o.o Turns out it was his dad LOL I was confused for a while there though cuz I thought he was picking me up alone XD Oh well, no worries. In the car on the way to his house we yacked about this and that; unfortunately I couldn't hear/understand half of what he was saying LOL Jameu's voice is too low XD Now that we've been around each other for a day though I can understand him most of the time.
Got to his place and I was introduced to the family. Very nice people, his mother is incredably welcoming; "make yourself at home!" several times I was told ^_^ Had a snack then went downstairs to watch Ghost In a Shell the TV series. I had previously seen the first movie and didn't like it. The show was ok/so-so, though at least it was definately an improvment of the movie. Then upstairs to take care of previously made challenges: SSBM & MKDD! XD We both won our respectidly choosen games; he kicked my ass at Smash Bros and I kicked his ass at Mario Kart. The Jameu is a very mean-spirited video game player; every time he won he through it in my face, even though I never did it once to him lol ^^;;; Oh well I guess....
Then downstairs for pizza, and back upstairs. I was exhausted and feeling pretty sick by this point (his house, especially his room is BOILIG HOT) so he wanted to try one of my GC games I brought so I offered that and laid down while he was playing. When he shut it off he noticed how outta it I was and so we called it a night and he left the room.
I was surprised at that because I guess I misunderstood previous arrangements as I thought that he was sleeping in his bed and I was to sleep in a sleeping bag on the floor. Nope, I got the bed, and room, to myself. The temperatures are quite extreme here; I went to bed in undies it was so hot, then when his alarm went off at 5/5:30am and scared the hell outta me I was cold and put clothes back on, then it got hot again but I was too tired to take off the clothes again XD
And yah, so here I am. As you can tell, there is a comp in the bedroom. I should probably go downstairs or something to see if anyone else it up; after all it is 11:15am ^^;;;; However, it's baking in here again which is exhausting me, so I think I might lay down again perhaps for another 15 minutes before going downstairs. The snow is very pretty, we have none in BC. I think today we're gonna catch Phantom of the Opera in the theatre.
