#01 - Air
She remembered when they both came into existence, how they first experienced the outside world, and most of all, the look the scientists gave them.
#02 - Apples
They were small round things, which Len had a hard time figuring out what it was, at least until Rin took it from him and took a bite out of it.
#03 - Beginning
They were 'products' of science, given to life by scientists.
#04 - Bugs
Len over heard one of the scientists say one day, “they're nothing but faulty programs; fix them, now!”
#05 - Coffee
The twins looked curiously at the drink that their 'parents' were drinking; it was a dark icky liquid that tasted just nasty.
#06 - Dark
He never liked 'bedtime' and was glad to have Rin by his side, assuring him that they were just going to 'sleep' for a few hours.
#07 - Despair
Rin looked at her brother, who was frightened out of his mind, and knew, right then, what was going to happen to one of them: they were mistakes and in order to 'correct' it, one of them would have to 'deactivate'.

Together, they ran away from it all, or at least tried to, there were just so many doors and many other failed 'products' there, telling them to hide.

There was enough of it to fill a cup or several and drink it, the amount of blood the spilled on the way to their hiding spot.

There was only one way out of it, Rin knew, as she clutched the small blade in her hands; Len closed his eyes tightly as he prepared for her to strike, hoping that she would be quick with it.

And the world held still, as if holding its breath, to see the result of the conflict between the twins.

When, Len opened his eyes again as he heard the scientists come and take 'him' away, instead he found himself looking at, well, 'himself' being taken away.

As they unraveled the bandage, Len's new blue eye found itself in tears, realizing what Rin had done for him.

Len shivered in fear as he remembered that his sister was left alone with the yellow roller; the last time that happened half of Tokyo was either missing or on fire.

Rin always waited for her brother to appear during the morning practices; she never minded waking earlier than him, since it gave her more time to fix that bird's nest she calls "bed hair".

When Rin stood over the top of the yellow roller she spread out her arms, feeling as though she was flying.

Rin and Len always argued over food; Rin liked sour oranges but hated bitter bananas, and Len liked bananas but oranges always stung his lips.

Rin thought that Len was too permissive and told him one day, after saving him, "you have to stand up to those fangirls someday."

It was always odd to see Rin serious for once; it kind of scared him quite a bit bit, which is why she burst out laughing a few seconds later seeing the odd look Len made.

It was the one color both of the twins hated simply because it belonged to their rival Hasune Miku.

Sometimes, Rin wondered how alike they would look if she styled his hair like hers.

Len picked up a white ribbon off the bench in the park; he couldn't help but wonder how familiar it was, and that was when he saw her his twin sis that he hadn't seen for years.

The Kagamine clan was built on honor and pride.

Looking up at the ceiling of his room, he remembered how, when they were little, he used to tell Rin that he was going to marry her one day.

Rin was never good at finding her way, neither was Len, but they were glad to be lost together rather than alone.

It wasn't the first time he felt throughly disgusted with himself, especially when he stared as his sister, his cheeks lit up in flames from embarrassment as she came out of the bathroom wearing nothing but her swimsuit saying, "like it Len?"

Len was afraid of snakes, so Rin always used them to scare him.

Bundled up in plenty of snow gear, the two decided to wage war on an unsuspecting Miku.

Just like their friendship.

Len never really thought that Rin was the kind of girl that would go for flowers, so when he gave her a crown made of daises, he was genuinely surprised to see how much she liked it.

Rin and Len didn't like horses very much, so when they went to the stables, they ran from the horses that were trying to stomp on them and brought out the yellow roller for revenge.

Rin looked over to her brother as the green haired, popstar princess walked up to him and couldn't help but feel a bit irritated and quickly went over to his rescue with the yellow roller.

Rin and Len never just basked in the sun like Meiko did, they loved to play in the water.

He touched his lips, remembering the sensation he felt when he kissed Rin; it was unlike anything he'd ever felt before, but he couldn't help feeling as if he had tainted her.

Len saw the way his sister looked at Miku, envious of her popularity, her beauty, and frowned deeply, "Rin-chan's cuter than Miku-sempai," he told her, only to earn a soft jab to the arm.

Love is war, Len knew, and it was so much harder when most of the world was against him just because they loved each other.

Just like glass, Rin saw not herself in the reflection, but Len staring back at her.

Rin was over joyed to see her brother come back home and tackled him, forcefully, to the ground.

The twins were happy when winter came, it meant their birthday was coming up soon!
