Weekend ;)))))
Hmmmm. Let's see.
FRIDAY...
frealzies went out to paaarty :P and I stayed in. Me and Carolyn watched Law & Order SVU, which was uber relaxing and most funish because it's been a while since I've seen a good bunch of weeks since I've seen some good old SVU!! Apparently me and Carolyn are sooooulmatsu b/c we are both very Anime/SVU and such oriented so...yah :D
SATURDAY...was weird. I had a lot of homework to do, very unfortunatley, but I also wanted to visit grams b/c it's been a while and I always feel awful not spending enough time with her. So Ma and Dennis picked me up and we hightaled it down route 9. We were gonna go out and eat as a family as well. Dad was going to me us down Comm Ave near Ginza. But once again, Murphy's Law, Dennis all of a sudden feels sick and starts barfing out the nothing he ate all day. It was incredibly weird and very sad. I hardly see the punk nowadays and when I do it's me holding a barf bag while he retches. I felt awful though. We stopped and got him medicine and then me and Ma handed him over to dad so he could take him home...poor boy.
We visited grandma (after my guilt wridden adventure in the Sushi Place of Goodness [yes we still went out to eat :P]) were we discussed the pro's and con's of Celebrating her Birthday at the Top of the Hub or at a Chinese Buffet.......trust me you don't wanna know.
Then I got dropped off back at school and trudged to the library....spent 4 hours doing Spanglish.....*death*
Then trudged back home and read King Lear...which suprisingly made me feel better, but that's probably because I found out instead of the 40 page pring out I thought I had to read, I only had to read 20.....because I printed it TWICE. *FAIL*
But SAT night was a lot of fun. We took the Fuck Truck to MIT and went to a Frat party on Baystate. It was funny trying to find a party. I almost broke down one particular door...trying to open it >.<
We finally did find a party, dry, with some good music and we stayed there till about 12:40 or something and then Eileen found some "friends" and we headed over to another Frat party, this one with what I like to call an "Armenian Theme" going on. There was pretty much a bunch of Armenians and us. It was actually pretty fun b/c they played some good Euro music which made me happy. They also poured us some white rum and coke and I hate cock coke but it was a pretty good mixture.
Then once the party winded down we went downstairs to wait for Eileen to head over to the bus and I goned a game of pool with 3 guys and a girl. I told them I was Russian and it was great b.c suddenly all these Armenians start chatting it up with me. One realizes my last name is not Russian, I tell him it's Ukraniane and he belts out this awesome Folk Song from Ukraine. L.M.A.O.
Overall the evening was fun, although my feet hurt like a mother from dancing.
SUNDAY...U222222222222222222222222222222222!!!
My aunt got last minute tixs so I rushed like a madwoman to finish whatever assignments possible and we headed offf to Gillette. The crowds were INTENSE. and as usual my aunt had her oops moment. We sneaked a couple bottles of Margarita in (our peaches got confiscated but the Margarita didn't, go figure!) but Murphy's Law strikes again and the Margarita emptied out into my aunts purse...were luckly we had put my CAMERA! Yay! It is now offically soaked in Margarita...fuckers. Oh well. C'est la Vie.
BONO....hmmm. Bono, Bono, Bono...wow.
The concert was deff amazing!! I enjoyed every fricking minute of it! We ditched our crappy seats and went down to the 200 level to watch them. Snow Patrol opened up for U2 and they were bloody fantastic also! They played:
If there's a Rocket, Tie me To It
Shut Your Eyes
Run
Open Your Eyes
Crack the Shutters
<333
U2, politically charged as ever, played from my recollection...
Mysterious Ways
With or Without You
City of Blinding Lights
Vertigo
Bloody Sunday
Where the Streets Have no Name
One
Get On Your Boots
"Irish Lullaby" for Suu Kyi (Burmese Political Leader who has suffered under 20 yrs of house arrest)
...
Concerts always make me feel so small. There's this one guy on stage and there are thousands of people reading to fall to the ground and gyrate maniacally if he simply asks them too. Power. Power to change. It's pretty big.
I am getting kind sleepy and classes start at 8:30 tomorrow }:<
So I wish you all a good night.
