of smuttings and pairings
I have come to the horrible conclusion that KKM should not be smutted.
The KKM bishies are just too adorable.
This, of course, is a horrible conclusion for any smut writer to conclude, but oh well. Doesn't mean I'll give up just yet.
I started rewatching this series yesterday to help flesh out some characterization and what-not after having spent a good portion of the weekend reading lovely fanfiction.
And now... to the pairings.
Even if some fans like to mix-and-match, it seems everyone pretty much falls into a set relationship and/or pairing. (pairs are easier than threesomes or groupies for this exercise)
Yuuri/Wolfram
Conrad/Yozak
Gwendel/Gunter
The Ex-Regent/Raven
Second to Yuuri, Murata is most seen with the Original Maiden.
Gunter's daughter is most seen with baldie.
[hmmm... I'll have to make sure I take names this time around]
There were a few others I noticed the first time around, but they were pretty insignificant in appearance, except for maybe the possibility of the Great Sage and the original King, which would somewhat explain Murata's complete not caring for 'takin the King to task' (the other part being they were probably best friends and best friends *usually* don't have a problem turning to you and saying, 'will you get your act together already and make up your damn mind? I'm getting tired of waiting here, you know?' <--- so not taken from personal experience, really {looks around nervously before remembering bf hasn't joined this community...yet})
My real question/pondering comes in at the seme/uke roles*. Normally, I'm an equal opportunity girl. As another friend & author so succiently said, it would be a waste of good body parts otherwise.
But... I see Yuuri and Wolfram, and I have a real hard time seeing Wolfram x Yuuri (not that it can't be done, I'm sure). Same with Conrad and Yozak---no problem Yozak giving Conrad a blow job (a typically seme act), but when it comes right down to it....
And Gwendel and Gunter are having the devil's own time *touching* hands, let alone kissing, to even get that far ahead in the planning process >.<
Murata's the only one I *don't* have a problem with at all seeing swing both ways. Actually, I think he probably swings a couple hundred ways. Past life memories can do that to you, ne? Especially if you remember being both men and women previously.
Any comments, suggestions, plot points you've thought of, too?
*Note* Most couples generally fall into a pattern, which can often be quite different throughout a relationship. For example, in the beginning we always did this, then we tried that and liked it so we did that, but now that we're older, we prefer it this way. [shrugs] routines--hate'em as you love 'em.
I came off as very "This is the way it always has to be" sounding and that was not my intent. I apologize. I was looking more into how their relationship would start (who would make the first move, do you think? who would do what first?) before settling into their, for the most part, routine.
