Wheeeeeee!!!
Well, here is the last of the challenge fics. Gomen for them being so late, but things here were rather crazy up until today. This is 23, and 24 & 25 will be together since they're just extensions of the same story. Those two will have a warning... lemon ahead! :P
December 23rd
Greta was plotting something, Wolfram could tell. He’d spent so much time with her that he could tell what she was thinking even before she thought it herself. Such a trait was good in a father since it helped in defusing a situation before the situation even started.
But he wasn’t able to diffuse this one. In fact, he wasn’t even sure that he wanted to. He knew that she was up to something, especially after she’d come bouncing out of Cecille’s room, hyper and excited.
If his mother was involved, it couldn’t be good either. The former Maou was known for her extravagance, and for once, Wolfram didn’t want to get caught in the middle of it. She always seemed to snag him and force him to do these odd and humiliating ideas. Then again, perhaps that was why she’d enlisted the help of Greta. The small human child really had no idea what she was getting into.
It wasn’t long before they realized what Greta and Cecille’s plan was. It was quite obvious, even Yuuri would be able to see it.
The day before Christmas even, the two strode in wearing the most elaborate and ornate dresses one could imagine. They were so garish that upon entry, the sunlight shone on their outfits and the others gave a cry, blinded by the intense light that radiated from the golden material.
Cecille was pleased, of course. She naturally thought they were cowering at the sight of her immense beauty, when in fact, they were trying to save their eyesight and from being blind permanently.
“Ahh…Mother. Thos are…striking outfits,” Konrad tried to reply diplomatically, though it didn’t come out very well since right after he gave a painful cry and clutched his head. The others sympathized with him, though none went to his aid since they were in the same predicament as he.
“You really think so?” She gushed, twirling around and making the golden colors dance around the room. Yuuri gave a screech and dove under the table, whimpering in pain.
“Why the overly bright dresses, Mother?” Gwendal asked through gritted teeth. Someone had to get her out before they all visited Gisella for permanent blindness!
“Ah! I’m shocked at you Gwendal! Don’t you think they’re beautiful?” Cecille asked, twirling around, causing the male members of the room to scream in pain. She gave a sniff. “I had thought we could finish Yuuri’s Christmas tradition with a ball!”
“Ugh…not another one…” Wolfram whined. His mother always used any excuse that she could to have a ball.
“Wolfram! As the Maou’s fiancé, you should be proud to have another ball!,” Cecille growled.
“Please Yuuri? Can’t we?” Greta asked cutely and all knew that Wolfram and Yuuri were unable to resist that cute little girl.
“Oi…fine, fine! Just go away before we’re blind!” Yuuri called out and Greta cheered. She grabbed Cecille’s hand and the two walked out triumphantly.
Once they were gone, Yuuri groaned and looked out from underneath the tablecloth. “We’re screwed.”
“You have no idea,” Konrad groaned, slumping into his chair.
