I had an Idea

I don't know if this idea has been hashed out before, but here's what I was thinking, here in the states we have things called Audio Books (I don't know if its the same thing as CD dramas) Audio books are simply that a person reads the book in its entirety onto disks or cassette tapes.

Now this is what my idea is, I was wondering if people could read the Kyou Kara Maou novels on to these cassettes or CDs, and

1.) make them available on websites for the fans to listen to, or request distribute to them to the fans or...

2.) I'm good at transcription and I am willing to listen to the CDs and Tapes and type them up and post them to the net. (I'm figuring the outloud-readers would be more comfortable with suggestion two and even readers as well. but then again we are all desperate for english translations of these novels and I think readers would be willing to be listeners if it means finally getting to know what happens in the series.) ^_^

We could literally have the whole series available within a year. At least that's what i'm thinking. I don't know how hard it is to read the japanese and turn it to english outloud, but from high school and college I remember getting very good at reading Russian and Spanish and being able to read those languages and translate them into english outloud, pretty quickly. So if volunteers would be willing to read the novels outloud onto tapes and label them and send them to me, or have them available on their websites, that would be great.

If we have more then one volunteer we could divy up the books between the volunteers, like volunteer one reads volumes 3-7, volunteer two reads vol.8-12, volunteer three reads vol.13-17, and etc.

That’s my idea. Thank you for your time.

sincerely jazzy
