Kyou Kara Maoh Anonymous Kink Meme
What is this thing?
Perhaps you have seen kink memes in other fandoms, but here is a refresher. Simply put, a kink meme is a single post where people make anonymous requests for stories they’d like to see-“kink” stories, although the definition of this is rather broad (more on that in a bit). These requests are then filled by any writer who takes a fancy to the idea, but the catch is that the writer also posts the response anonymously.
What is the point?
To have fun! Specifically, to have a low-stress place for the sharing of sexy stories and story ideas.
What, exactly, is “kink?”
Some would say that the answer is obvious, but I don’t think so. For one thing, a kink doesn’t need to be classically “kinky” to count. Fetishes count as kinks, so it is possible to write a kink fic which involves no overt sex at all. However, the point of all kink fics is roughly the same: to write something that someone, somewhere, will hopefully find erotic and sexy. At the bottom of this post is a link to a list of potential kinks, but people don’t need to consult it in order to request fic. In the end, a kink is whatever is honestly likely to turn you on. This is pretty much all it needs to be.
Rules (copied from FMA 09 kink meme):
- Requests should always be posted anonymously, without exception.
- Requests should include preferred characters AND some kind of kink-based prompt (be as specific and as detailed as you wish in outlining your kink, this can only be helpful to prospective writers).
- Each request must be in a separate comment. More than one person may fill any request, there is no limit on the number of fics each request generates, but for the sake of clarity, please do not post your requests/prompts as a batch.
- “Seconded!” or “I love this idea!” responses are discouraged, but not expressly forbidden. If it turns out that "seconding" ends up being a barrier for prompts to being filled, however, it may be forbidden in the future.
- Claimants are encouraged to respond anonymously, but are allowed to de-anon if they decide to post their stories elsewhere under their own name.
- You may use any version of KKM as inspiration for your prompt/story (manga, anime, or novels). Alternatively, you need not specify, if it doesn’t matter which continuity you are requesting for/working in.
- Response fics must primarily revolve around canon characters. OCs are allowed, but not as any element of the primary fic pairing. The majority of the story MUST involve characters canonical to Kyou Kara Maoh.
- No pairing or kink bashing. I think it’s obvious that a little playing nice goes a long way!
- Similarly, no flames. Concrit is allowable only if the anon writer requests it. The point of this meme is not to write the BEST STORIES EVER but to explore one’s every secret, filthy fantasy.
- On the other hand… plot in porn IS allowed. You may post multichapter fics. Depending on the nature of the kink requested, the story need not even be that particularly explicit (sometimes cuddling is a kink). However, all stories must involve some kind of pairings as the primary focus. Gen fic is great, and we love it, but this is not the place for it.
- This comm Is friendly to het, slash/femmeslash/yuri, three-somes or moresomes.
- There is no minimum (or maximum) fic length. Do whatever you feel you need to do in order to fill the prompt.
- If you think you know who made a request/response, please keep this to yourself. No “outing” of participants, not even by guess!
- Art responses are allowed. If you want to remain anon you can upload your art to an anonymous image hosting service such as Tinypic, and then link to it in your request-reply. However, art is difficult to "anonymize" and it is rather easily poached, so I think it would be fair to encourage artists to reply non-anon.
- Pedophile/Shota/Lolicon art is NOT allowed. This exception is in place to protect viewers who come from countries where even the viewing of such art can be construed as a crime. This exception is not intended to be viewed as a value judgement against those who produce/enjoy such works, however.
- Lastly. Although it is not a rule, I would like to submit that anyone who has a request filled consider paying it forward by filling another request elsewhere in the meme.
