Updates on KKM 3rd serie episodes

Jan 22, 2009 23:55

To be precise on the official website they posted the date of the final episode and the title.

KKM third serie will end on the 19th of February, I assume the other titles for the episodes were already posted so I'll post this latest one (under spoiler, you never know)

Not that it was a surprise but just to make sure to not spoiler anyone )

I wish they would have either left it at season 2, or give us a bit more... because I don't think they can get much more done in the episodes they have left... And Sara has yet to do anything cool. :/ And being a little brat doesn't count.

I agree. Season 3 started off so promising, and simply fell short for me. I can't see it being redeemed in the 3 episodes that's left.

I don't even think I want a season 4 at this point.

Agreed on Saralegui as well, however I just saw the raw for today's episode and now I'm intrigued by his actions. Still can't make up for the lackluster villains this season overall, however. (Oh King Curly of Big Shimmy Shimmy Ya Shimmy Yam Shimmy Yay, you disappointed me D:)

What I answered to guinechan.

I didn't watch the episode, I don't even have time for that but whatever, they needed a climax so it was expectable to have him do something at this point, still...
This serie started off well and then went down the hill...can't help but think there was some big mistake and too many high expectations towards certain characters...

The sad thing is that this season didn't have the success they were expecting for, it started off pretty well, the first episodes ratings were so good that they made the staff think they could go on but then...it decreased so much.
I say again, the idea of having a Saralegi centered serie was wrong and they pretty much destroyed any chance for a continuation.
The second proof I had it today, I went to check KKM radio and it was written on the official page that also the radio episodes were ending, exactly one month after the ending of the third serie.

Saralegi should have either characterized better, or just left out putting more interest on other situations and dynamics between the characters...
Bad bad mistake they did and we will be deprived of KKM >_

If it is not doing well financially then yeah there would be no fourth season. That's really the bottom line whether or not the characters are interesting or the plots were wonderful. It doesn't matter whether loyal fans like us want to have another season or whether we think that there is more to be done and explored with the characters. At least, there are still the novels and they are doing quite well (I am assuming they are doing well). And perhaps many years from now, when the novels make it to the English speaking world and interest is sparked by new fans, they would remake the show (yeah yeah, it's a pipe dream).

I think all depends on the way the plot and the characters were able to interest people.
If the plot is not interesting and the characters are not intriguing or worse the ones more liked ahem ahemWolfram and Conrad according to that chart XDD are basically left out from the main action then yes, the rating decreases.
And the fact that also the radio shows are ending it's another thing. I know radio shows that continued waaay after the end of the anime serie (Prince of tennis to name the one I know more) but also a looot more. Having them interrupt that to me means that they don't want to invest money on KKM anymore >_<

oh i was afaid of that.. -_-
hearing about the end of the radio show isn't good news.. after all when considering more epi's, it really does come down to ratings and $ i suppose.

even though i agree with most everyone's comments here about how this season had some disappointments in story develeopment, i still thoroughly enjoyed it! and i think there were some real gems in some of the fillers. considering how some shows continue on forever ..though mostly shonen action series, i was really hoping they would realize KKM has a strong fanbase and leave the show open for continuation. i'm still going to remain optimistic and hope for some ovas at least! if/when the creators decide to offer us more KKM goodies i will watch for sure <3
